I do not know IF they are the same ones who tried yesterday to rob a home on Davis Mill North. All I know is that someone saw a guy and he took off running thur the woods and another guy picked him up on Hiram Way ( I think). The guy drove a maroon truck low rider with a grey bed and loud pipes. This was reprorted by someone who was outside their house and saw the guy run out of the woods and jump into the truck to the police as they searched for the guy. I THINK I heard the police had stopped them but not sure as I got busy and did not hear it all. Being it was a daytime robbery and so close

Hey I always made sure NOT to leave my kids in the car so this would never happen. By the time I would leave them they were old enough that IF they had locked the door and would not open it then they would be the ones hoping anyone BUT me got hold of them first.

No harm in calling them now to find out the steps you need to take.

I wonder why they did not call Animal Control for this? Seems they should have been the one to deal with that.

Mr Dis what do you think of having another service that would work these types of calls..Maybe someone train in first aid and how to lift people, unlock cars...that kind of thing but would run them in say a car. A Non-emergency service to take these call off the fire,EMT, and police.

Once in a while is one thing and I would have no problem with that. It would be great if there was another cheaper service to handle these calls so that our first responders and their trucks were not tied up. You know maybe someone working in a car who could run calls like this? Would be cheaper on all of us and at the same time would be able to help. Would not need to be a fireman, EMT, or police...if the probelm turned out to be bigger then they could call for back up.

Funny and sad at the same time. You should hear how many times a day they get calls to unlock car doors.

I have heard of people calling about "chest pains" to get a ride downtown Atlanta. They get well ASAP when they get to the hospital and off they go. Free taxie

I guess people either have to work the system or know someone who does to get a real understanding of the problem. The Clark thread has had me thinking about this for a while. I guess if we no longer have Clark around and it causes some real problems more people may stop and think about it also.
