  1. Yhat one was mild, I have more but I don't want to share right now ;)

That sounds like an addiction to me, you HAVE to get one! :p

yeah, yeah, I don't have to, but I definitely try to. Be forewarned, I get people to get one for me when they go on vacation too. Where you going next, huh, where you going next?

  2. Puppy kisses from Max and Petunia when I gave them their Chanukah goodies.

aww, santa paws will come to visit my Luke tonight. Homemade doggie treats and a new stuffed elephant to destroy..

  3. I posted it in another thread already, but my daughter sent Wifey and I out for an evening at Ruth's Chris and a night at a 5 star hotel. We're blessed to have a great kid like this.

    that's cool...oops, did I start a double thread?

  4. So far I have realized that the best gift I have- I have all year long, when we were at our candle light service tonight I realized that God has blessed me with a wonderful wonderful family.

beautiful!! me too, darling, me too!

  5. all holidays included....I know some people open Christmas presents early, whether friends or family, work, etc. So what has been your favorite so far...you can add on more tomorrow if you so choose..

My favorite so far was from my best friend, my "other" sister. She gave me two frames with pictures of us from over the years and had them decorated in "scrapbook" type decoration. They're awesome and they match my pink spare bedroom. She had a little poem in one and made me cry. :p :p

  6. I had never heard of scrapple before coming to Paulding County. I had seen grits on My Cousin Vinny; but not in real life. Coming down here was also my introduction to pork rinds, sweet tea, BBQ joints, and probably a few other things that do not come readily to mind. It seems like everything down here is fried and has a ton of salt and/or sugar added to it; and I do remember reading that Southerners live 10% less years than Northerners. I think more folks smoke down here as well; so that might be it as much as food is.

Hmmm...I don't know...I do love some fried chicken though. I'm a southern girl, born and bred, but don't like sweet tea, beer, or smoke. I like pork rinds, but only if they're very hot, and fresh. I hope everyone has a merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays, and Happy chanukkah to you moose, although that may be over now, I'm not sure??

  7. You can't make this stuff up.

    Only in the Deep South.......

yuck...scrapple is a northern/yankee food. I tried it in Pennsylvania once...nasty...It's like grits for us. I'm a southerner and never known another southerner to know what scrapple was. We do the Christmas breakfast, but no champagne and no scrapple. It's cheese grits casserole instead.... :D ;)

  8. all done, all wrapped and ready to go. Delivering the presents for the family we donated to at work tomorrow. I love wrapping usually, but couldn't get in the mode this year...glad to know it's not just me. I have pretty paper on 'em, but no frilly bows like usual.

  9. look for breast buddies. My mom used them, she's a two-time survivor... oddly enough I'm listening to the song survivor while typing this...hmmm. good luck. Also check out the book What Your Dr. May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer. I think it's by dr. lee. Awesome book with lots of info. My mom would be glad to talk to you too I'm sure. She's had chemo, radiation, implants, implants removed, and the tran-flap surgery...
