I have to get a Christmas ornament any where I travel to. Not an addiction, but a collection.
-
awww, thanks millie, just got mine too....I feel so loved..
-
No thanks, I'll take the mayberry I just got instead, YAY
where's mine? I've never got one either???
-
Why is this a tradition? I have never heard of it.
It's supposed to bring you good luck for the new year...greens represent green money, peas, coinage. The more you eat the more you are supposed to get in the upcoming year..

hmmm...I looked and I don't know...if it's on the inside of the jacket, I have no clue. I've never seen a number for a jersey/jacket on the inside...
-
It's on the inside of the jacket or it that the number on the back. It's not a current jersey number...still looking

who and when did they play?

Heat on the neck, and ice on the forehead. It causes a contrast in the blood vessels that confuses them into dilating. Try it and see. Better than all the medicines.

walmart closed at 6, walgreens is open tomorrow, not sure what time.

go for real stockings, and hang some socks..

Puppy kisses from Max and Petunia when I gave them their Chanukah goodies.

I posted it in another thread already, but my daughter sent Wifey and I out for an evening at Ruth's Chris and a night at a 5 star hotel. We're blessed to have a great kid like this.
that's cool...oops, did I start a double thread?

So far I have realized that the best gift I have- I have all year long, when we were at our candle light service tonight I realized that God has blessed me with a wonderful wonderful family.

all holidays included....I know some people open Christmas presents early, whether friends or family, work, etc. So what has been your favorite so far...you can add on more tomorrow if you so choose..
My favorite so far was from my best friend, my "other" sister. She gave me two frames with pictures of us from over the years and had them decorated in "scrapbook" type decoration. They're awesome and they match my pink spare bedroom. She had a little poem in one and made me cry.

good luck and hope it doesn't mess up the Christmas plans. Makes me very glad I don't live in an apartment anymore..

oops I missed it....Happy Birthday...can't believe nobody else saw the topic saw bithrday...may have been on purpose though

I had never heard of scrapple before coming to Paulding County. I had seen grits on My Cousin Vinny; but not in real life. Coming down here was also my introduction to pork rinds, sweet tea, BBQ joints, and probably a few other things that do not come readily to mind. It seems like everything down here is fried and has a ton of salt and/or sugar added to it; and I do remember reading that Southerners live 10% less years than Northerners. I think more folks smoke down here as well; so that might be it as much as food is.
Hmmm...I don't know...I do love some fried chicken though. I'm a southern girl, born and bred, but don't like sweet tea, beer, or smoke. I like pork rinds, but only if they're very hot, and fresh. I hope everyone has a merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays, and Happy chanukkah to you moose, although that may be over now, I'm not sure??

You can't make this stuff up.
Only in the Deep South.......
yuck...scrapple is a northern/yankee food. I tried it in Pennsylvania once...nasty...It's like grits for us. I'm a southerner and never known another southerner to know what scrapple was. We do the Christmas breakfast, but no champagne and no scrapple. It's cheese grits casserole instead....

what was he going to do, jump in front of the bulldozer and stop him???

just made a big old pot of deer chili, curling up on the couch and going to watch a Christmas Story for the first time this year. Just me and my heated throw....aww....life is good...till I gotta go to work tomorrow...
-
well the two I was going to suggest have already been listed. I do love portrait innovations though. They usually book up for Christmas in October. I have seen smoochie moms on here and they are awesome.
-
all done, all wrapped and ready to go. Delivering the presents for the family we donated to at work tomorrow. I love wrapping usually, but couldn't get in the mode this year...glad to know it's not just me. I have pretty paper on 'em, but no frilly bows like usual.

look for breast buddies. My mom used them, she's a two-time survivor... oddly enough I'm listening to the song survivor while typing this...hmmm. good luck. Also check out the book What Your Dr. May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer. I think it's by dr. lee. Awesome book with lots of info. My mom would be glad to talk to you too I'm sure. She's had chemo, radiation, implants, implants removed, and the tran-flap surgery...

yeah, yeah, I don't have to, but I definitely try to. Be forewarned, I get people to get one for me when they go on vacation too. Where you going next, huh, where you going next?
