Southern Biker of Hiram -- Ride For the Kids -- Saturday - September 12
LPPT replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
All I can say is my son would not be here if it weren't for the exceptional care and education of the best pediatric hospital in this area. If Tina needs me to help or cover the event tell her to let me know, I will be glad to help. -
I love wine sauces, would you be showing us those?

What a great cause! -
I agree about kids driving high powered vehicles, my suburban has a 455 in it, and no way will my teenage son ever get it unless I put a governor on it. As old as I am all that power has been known to tempt me, when I need it I use it!

Thats what I am saying it is not gonna happen in my lifetime. Even if you could change the entire infrastructure of our country persueding the population to only have 2 kids each so you could run around together as a family in your tiny car is going to be a very hardsell. And of course hauling becomes an issue, things still have to be hauled by large trucks, and I will not want to be driving on the roads with them in a matchbox car. What I will say is this though, had the money been invested in in cars that get better mileage, lighter weight materials, been invested in 25 years

I have been driving a suburban for 8 years, we were rear ended by a sports car doing about 60mph in the turn lane in front of walmart. The car picked up my backend and spun me in the opposite direction, but was unable to push me into oncoming traffic. We did suffer soft tissue injury from the impact. The back of my suburban looked like I backed into a pole at 5 mph, my trailer hitch took most of the impact. The other guy ended up with his engine in his lap and severe injuries. I love the idea of high mileage enviromentally friendly cars,, and when the day comes that we are
