The book is huge the requirements in the thousands, a restaurant can be failed by failing in sections, such as an employ wearing jewelry in the kitchen -10 points, a handwashing sign fallen off a wall another -10., a bathroom door with a slow closure-10. I am married to a Yankee so I have modified my mothers recipe a little. You start with chicken broth, I ussually add a few boullion cubes to give it a stronger taste. I chop onions and celery add some secret herbs to the broth my mother always put sage in hers I add sausage flavored with sage; My mother used cornbread and a 1/2 dozen peices of toast, I used herb flavored croutons so mine has a bit more bread, a handful of beaten eggs put it in the oven and mmmmmm!

We had a birthday party DH I cooked all morning, the kids came out all of them We played badmitten, ate apple pie, opened presents, and a couple of folks ended up in the pool fully dressed Luckily no cellphones were destroyed It was a wonderful day!!

I wanted to give for the first this year. As many know my father was very sick and the only thing that kept him alive was weekly blood transfusions. I am grateful to all of you that give, It means so much to those of us that have had a loved one saved. I am choosing not to give because of the lyme disease, so much is unknown about it, and blood is not tested specifically for it. I would not wish what I am going through on anyone.

Update!!! The apples made a great pie. they were tart and had almost a spicy flavor too them. I cooked it just a little long they softened quickly. My son had to be beaten off the second pie, he wanted to eat the whole thing himself!!! Thank you again Honeybear!!
