  1. You know, the oddest thing happened today with my chi and spanial. 5 huge birds were flying over their kennel outside and I heard my chi yelp. I went outside and saw these huge birds making a racket and I said to myself "oh, hell no!" I brought the dogs in and this one huge bird made a good awful sound and then they all flew away.

I'm wondering if they were trying to attack my chi?

  2. But there is one stipulation......Bus stops are part of the school system per say. Therefore you are not allowed to smoke at a bus stop. No tolerance what's so ever. No different if there is a fight at a bus stop. I witness a kid getting suspened off the bus and from school because they had a fight at their bus stop.

  3. Lost and then diverted elsewhere, eh? It'll be nice being at a concert and seeing lots of middle aged folks like myself.

Aerosmith has been around since about 1970 and did you know that the single "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" in 1998 from the Armageddon soundtrack was their first number one single? And I believe it is their only number 1 single.

They had 9 number 1 singles and they formed in 1973 in Sunapee, NH, then moved to 1325 Commenwealth, Boston, MA.

  4. When we lived in Colorado, my children and I went shopping. One of them decided to show their butts that day and I was getting tired of it. I want this, I want that, and then cop a tude when I said no. Well, I fought fire with fire, I THREW MYSELF ON THE FLOOR AND STARTED TO PRETEND CRYING, flinging my arms and legs. The look of horror in their eyes. My son, "Mom get up!" When I finally did, people laughed and one person walked up to me and said "Good one!" My kids never misbehaved in a store again.

  5. Family spokesman Dan Watt says the 86-year-old Arthur died at home early Saturday, April 25, 2009. He says Arthur had cancer, but declined to give further details. Beatrice Arthur, the tall, deep-voiced actress whose razor-sharp delivery of comedy lines made her a TV star in the hit shows "Maude" and "The Golden Girls" and who won a Tony Award for the musical "Mame," died Saturday. She was 86.

Arthur died peacefully at her Los Angeles home with her family at her side, family spokesman Dan Watt said. She had cancer, Watt said, declining to give further details.

  6. Gees, I shouldn't have came in here. I thought it was just going to be a new toy that Pet Smart or some store is selling and then I see the snake. So much for planting today or tomorrow, hell now I might not plant at all. We get a lot of snakes in our yard. Gees now having second thoughts in having my yard sale this weekend.

  7. I think the dad in the Haleigh case married his girlfriend because the prosecutors can't make him testify against his spouse.

In Florida, if you aren't married to your spouse when something occurs then you still have to testify. He wasn't married to her when his daughter went missing therefore he has to testify against her.

Also I heard they didn't want their ordeal on Nancy Grace.

Right now Nancy is back focusing on Caylee because Casey is facing the death penalty and the family is aghasted.

I watch her every night at 10.

  8. Thank you, but if you read one of my posts you can always go to the tailgate party in the field and then listen to the music from there. At least you are there to hear it!!!

I will be lookin' purty with my MaryKay makeup and hair done, nails done and new outfit. When they come around I always splurg on myself. Have to, will be 5 rows from the stage and I will be at the catwalk unless it blocks my view of Brad Whitford who is my fav. He plays rhythm guitar.

Matter of fact that is him in my avatar.

  9. You know what, if you can't score a ticket you still can go....It will be at Lakewood (Hi/Fi Buys) so you can still tailgate in the parking lot (if you never been there it is basically a big field) and still hear the music but just can't see them. Or you can get close enough to the venue and just park somewhere and listen. *S*

  10. "Prank Caller"? How about this - Don't answer the phone if it's not someone you know! Everyone has caller I.D. If it says "blocked" or "unknown" - don't answer the phone! There are also call blocking and call tracing services available.

Truthfully, I didn't know that anybody still answers "blocked" or "unknown" calls!

I don't have caller ID on my home phones. I'm not caught up on the latest technology....LOL...Heck, I'm still learning my cell phone and I've had it for 2 years...LOL
