  1. I took my son and his bestfriend and we had an awesome time.

I have to admit, at first I was like wow, then I became very skeptical, I felt they were contradicting themselves with the history. Some parts just didn't make sense, if you read and listen to everything.

  2. MY BIL many years ago when he lived in Arizona used to keep a king snake in his truck because one morning he went to get in his truck before the king snake and the there was a rattler coiled up on his seat.

"Oh, Hell NO!!!" :o :( That is when you lock up those windows...LOL

I remember when I was a dominos driver, I went over a snake with my car, but the wheels didn't hit it. I don't know the species of snakes. I didn't see it in my review mirror and that is all she wrote....I freaked ran out of my car, and called my father and asked him if the snake could get in my car......Go ahead laugh...LOL

Another time I was delivering, I couldn't get out of my car because a snake was right there.

I just about had a heartache when I had to go into my backyard yesterday with the adjuster.

King, garter, don't bother me, but I have to figure them out when I see a snake. I really can't tell what snakes are EXCEPT for the 6' cotton mouth that comes into our backyard every summer.

When I'm in the kitchen I always look out the window to see if I spot any snake.

Oh and what is up with those dang hawks, black birds trying to get my chi?

  3. I'm excited! It's been about ten years since I've been to my hometown in AZ, and we are planning our annual family-reunion (immediate family) trip there this summer. The town has changed so much since I left. I cannot wait to see it!

I haven't been back just b/c it is only my father who lives there, my sister is in a different city and my brother is in another state (we try to just meet up in Phoenix or Denver once per year ... for the sake of convenience for everyone.)

It's where I grew up and where I met my husband. I'm afraid we're never going to want to leave!!! If anything, I just miss being around my family. :) Now that my kids are getting a bit older, my anxiety of travelling alone with them is diminishing. So we will be seeing my family more often.

So back to my question: When was the last time you visited your hometown (if you are obviously not from Paulding.) :)

I was there two years ago. Normally I go every year, but I couldn't arrange it last year. Will be going this year.

  4. It seems to me to be a regular thunderstorm with rain.

Once again the weather channel and regular news channels get you all worked up.

This time I didn't shut the computer down or had me and all the animals and children in my room.

Like I said before, I'm so over it. I listen but yet I don't listen to them.

The media really make people panic no matter what the situation is.

  5. I can not believe how fast it got dark here at my house in New Hope off of Old Cartersville Rd.

The dogs wanted out (I guess to do their business one more time LOL) and while I was carrying the chi, he started to cry and I brought him right back in.

  6. I have wind at my house and I heard just one clap of thunder. It is getting dark out (infront of the house), I see the clouds coming. The dog won't stay off my lap.

Going back out and will tell you what I see and hear.

  7. Just came back in, warm, windy, some mean clouds but nothing to worry about. I'll probably go back out in a few.

Were is weatherboy? He knows more about this stuff and normally posts first.

I did hear a siren, I think I did any way.

  8. For some reason I'm not to worried about this storm. I clicked on that link and it said that winds will get to 25 miles an hour. I'm tired of the media getting me into frenzy over the weather in this state. I will still watch to see what is going on but I'm not going to panic any more.

Now watch that THIS is the storm to panic about....Oh well, I have my water, cigarettes, cell, car keys (if the car doesn't get damaged) I'm good.

  9. First off... good for you....

That is a good job that you did there as I will not touch a vacum other than the basic power switch and belt replacment.

Good for you girl as many women will not touch that kind of stuff.

So BZ to you (Brovo Zulu) aka Job well done.....

    Thank you!!!

  10. Hmm, I'm not quite convinced. Now if you were to tackle someone's honey-do list, then perhaps I'd believe that you don't need a man to do anything for you. Heck, maybe you'll be the first person to complete a honey-do list.

Of course I need a man to do certain things, but we won't name what! :p

  11. You go girl!!!!! Be on alert all you handy type guys. You better offer more than a hammer and pliers for this lady!

I once took my electrolux apart and took it to the repair shop. They told me it would be 3 weeks; I asked why? All it needs is this one part. He said how do you know?? I said because I took it apart and that is the piece that is broken. Take that and that and that; you chauvanistic stinker bell! (I know the spelling is wrong).

    LOL, you tell em'!!!!

  12. Yes, I REALLY FIXED IT BY MYSELF. And the only boys in my house is my son and his bestfriend. To be honest there was no man I wanted to ask.

But, I feel you are being a downer about this...It's all good, because I feel good about my accomplishment!!!

I use to be a pro at fixing my vacuum's...I cleaned apartments for a few years and had to fix them myself!! :yahoo: :good:

    You go girl!!!!! :drinks:
