Thanks Freebird..... but wouldn't the truck come in handy if there was a fire at the hosiptal or courthouse? incase it was needed to help rescue people from higher floors? and were would the nearest ladder truck have to come from another county? some of these firestations only have 2 men working in them, and it is supose to be 4..... so if a fire happened (godforbid) at the top floor of the hosiptal, we would have to 1. wait for a truck from another county to get here to put it out.. 2. let the hosiptal fire suppression capabilities do its thing and put the fire out iself...

also while i am asking all of these questions why don;t you have a like button?

There will a question on the Nov Ballot about a new jail.... we do need a new jail, and while i am on it all of our public saftey needs raises... I did not know that we do not have a fire truck that will not reach a high place... we have one that reaches 75 ft. and it stays torn up... so if the hosiptal or courthouse caught on fire we do not have a fire truck that will reach the top... why on earth was this not taken care of before a fireman had to point it out? we are loosing a lot of good public saftey to other counties... higher pay, better retirement, and better equipment.
