A friend of mine needs a seamstress that can repair a jacket..if you know someone please PM me with the number so I can get it to my friend
TIA!
It depends on what the repair entails and where it is, rip or seam opened for instance. More info needed. Also, is it a man's or woman's jacket?

For the morning crowd - don't forget to go see Nemie at Grand's this weekend!
-
Another thing, Nemie. I went to the Cat Show on Sunday and none of their toys were any better than yours. I need a couple of new ones for Dr. Destructo (Bandit) for Christmas.

Hi ya RetiredTeacher,
Yeppers, I am going to be set up at Grands, the gas station/convenience store on 92.
(Hiram Sudie & 92).
The fish shaped feeder are adorable. I personally love those myself. Be cute chresitmas gift for cats or cat owners. Price on those regularly $25.00 but Black Friday/Saturday and for pcommers it will be little less, $22.00
Anyone want to order one in a different color just let me know. Right now I have one pink and one blue.
Might have to stop by then...

Nemie, I love those fish-shaped tables!
Are you going to be somewhere selling next weekend?

Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to hook the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential down pour.
The wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day.
I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'
My loving wife of 20 yrs replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that stuff?'
I still don't know to this day if she was joking, but I have stopped fishing.

My brother and I drove into Atlanta to see the CFA International Cat Show. There were some truly beautiful cats; hundreds of them! What made me smile was looking at the pix of my cats on my phone and realizing that I didn't like ANY of the fancy cats as much as I love mine.

what a great idea. however, my daughter wants a stage. Yep she asked if we could build her a stage in her room, she is 4 yrs old. She is also asking for a real microphone and stand....
I don't know if this will work for you but one of the new sewing mags I buy had an idea for a stage that you put in the doorway on tension curtain rods. It was made with velvet, tassels, and fancy fringe but could be much simpler and still be cute. The "actor" can stand in a hall or closet and give the performance. A short curtain could be used for puppet shows.

Are you talking about CSI:NY? That's tomorrow night at 10 on CBS. He's on that and so is Bruce Willis' daughter.

5 year old is having a MAJOR melt down tonight. I really wish these would stop. He is screaming at the top of his lungs and hitting my walls. He has torn all of the sheets and blankets off of his bed
My youngest could go from sweet to ugly in a heartbeat. Once he was in the middle of one and I took pics of him. After he'd cooled down I showed them to him and he seemed embarrassed. Whenever he started to melt down, I took the pics out and we looked at them together. He eventually stopped altogether but we diverted a lot of tantrums with the pics and discussions.

We've declared a "hard candy Christmas" this year among family and friends. We are making most gifts.
One thing I have done in the past is make coupon books, on the computer or hand-drawn, with coupons for babysitting, trips to get ice cream, a movie, a sleepover for children or grand kids, a home-made dinner or cake for busy grown kids, etc. They love them and it makes Christmas last for a long time!

Both my brother and oldest son lived with me for a while when they moved here from other places. My Mom has been with me for 5 years now and my youngest son lives here. I dread when he moves out since that will keep me housebound. Mom is 90 and we don't leave her alone.
I would take in any of my relatives in a heartbeat.

My boys loved the boxes the things came in! My oldest had a Weebles treehouse and loved it. The toys with the light and soound will probably be good now, though.

Thank you all.

My niece in Mississippi sent me this same e-mail last night. It's really getting around!

We had pecan trees for 50+ years and ate them right off the ground. Mom left them in brown grocery bags until she and Daddy got around to picking themout, but they were ready when they fell off the trees.

Thank you for your kind words! He was truly one of a kind and a very loving kitty.

All of my cars have the same name. When I first get them and they are shiny and new, I call them Elizabeth. When I've gotten to know them better, I call them Betsey. My Grandfather's car was Betsey and it makes me think of him.
