I met the owner of J-Rod's Diner today and just want to give him a shout out. His business is located off of Hwy 278 in Hiram. He is in the little strip mall by Advanced Auto. He has a really polite staff and a nice restaurant which is now featuring an all you can eat menu. Please give this business your support. In this economy it is really hard for the "little guy" to make it.

Does anyone know what happened on Hwy 61 North just before you get to Paulding Meadows. There were several police and a detour set up.

Congratulations to the PCHS Marching Band for coming in 2nd place in their class at the JSU Marching Competition. You guys have come a really long way the past couple of years and we are all very proud of you, Miss Young & Ms. Corley. You just missed going into the finals and that is something to be very proud of. Congratulations also go out to NPHS Band for making the finals at JSU. You both represented this county proudly!

Congratulations to the Paulding County High School Marching Patriot Band! They came in 1st place in the Golden River Marching Competition Class 1-A. Miss Young, you have done an amazing job with these students this year and we all appreciate and love you. Thanks to all of the band students for doing their very best. It was a pleasure to watch all of you.

All I am saying is once you have voted on an issue and the people have spoken, you shouldn't put it back up for vote because it didn't go your way. And by the way, I loved my job while I had it.
