Does anyone know a service in Paulding County that will pick up a senior and take them to a doctor's appointment in Marietta? We've tried some transport companies but they only accept Medicaid. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Hi - I found a Bible on the road this morning on Highway 101 N between Pleasant Grove Rd and Mt Olivet Church. It's an old Bible and has several names in it, none of which I recognize. If you lost a Bible this morning in that area, please send me a private message and I will arrange to have it returned to you. It's a KJV and looks to be old and worn.

Hi Dis, I have a son that has ADHD/ODD and feel like over the years we've tried everything to get him to behave. One aspect of ODD to understand is that it is a problem solving issue. These kids don't have proper skills to solve everyday problems like - what happens if my favorite shirt is not clean for me to wear to school today - so instead of just being disappointed, they act out in ways that would make Job scream. My son has done things from cutting up his sheets to trying to set fire in our living room. My son is almost a teenager, and I wish I could tell you it gets better but

What an amazing weekend and service. I am so proud of our county. We really came together this weekend and did some wonderful things.

We worked with CAYA today delivering food to the Dallas Housing Authority area. It was a ton of work, but very much worth it. I'm not sure who received the bigger blessing today. The ones receiving the food that was needed or us :-) It's been a great day.

Agree with both of these comments. My son has ADHD and is very sensitive to what he wears. He also has OCD....he's very bothered by certain textures of clothing and food. Limiting his choices is probably a good thing. There's less to be distracted by.

Judy we are going to miss seeing your smiling face around church, but now you're home and no more pain...just dancing and singing with the angels.
