They made a mess with the program. Both of the grandkids are/were in the gifted program and after they changed it we had to do what mrnn is doing to make sure they stayed on top of it. many college educated family members, some with 3 degrees, and it was a problem. I will say again terminology is a big part. I don't think Georgia really has an official program. Teachers make up their own and try to hit the standards. That is supposed to change. We shall see.
