I have to agree. Part of the reason my business membership has been so successful for me is that I am able to converse in a friendly manner separately from my professional objectives. Allowing members to know me as a person, further solidifies their trust in me as a professional. It would be a shame to see the site move away from the social posts just to increase business and news posts. The site can't function as one or the other. We need both.

Guys, if you want to make money you've got to spend it. Pcom has been wonderful for my business. I paid my membership and the first client I got off Pcom brought me a check for 67 times what my membership cost me. Granted I'm in a business where the average commission check I receive is $5k. For a different financial structure, PM Hairazor. Her business took off like a rocket after she went Commerce and I know many similar stories from Pcommers. Even with the increase in the membership fee it is still well worth it. I can't advertise anywhere and get the same exposure and return for the money

From the OP... The Dallas Christmas Parade will take place 12/06/08 @ 2pm, beginning at Dallas Elementary on Hardee street. The Christmastime Arts & Crafts Fair will be held on the same day from noon-5pm, located across the street from the start of the parade.

Dad told me he and Niki were on vacation and he had a heart attack.

This is one of my Dad's best friends. I had only met Craig and Niki a few times. They were both so supportive as was Craig's family when my Dad had open heart surgery four years ago. By all accounts Craig was a great man who enjoyed life. I know my Dad is going to miss his friend. Sending happy thoughts to Niki and their children as well as Craig's family.

I too want to thank everyone who came out for our first night at MacFarlane's. And to the staff who treated me so well and quickly made me one of the family. We all had a wonderful time. Lots of new faces that are not pcommers. And of course our wonderful Pcom peeps were out in force. I'm looking forward to seeing many more new faces as well as familiar ones in the weeks to come. MacFarlane's is a very classy place with great food and a great staff. Make sure you join us for Spotlight Karaoke each Friday from 9pm til 1am.

Not only that, she's used the absolute worst pics of me possible. Oh and thanks Chick. My aunt and I worked very hard at that costume to make it as authentic as possible. We joked that we were just like Patsy and her mama. Her mama made all of her early stage outfits. She even hand placed 3000 sequins on to one of her dresses. It was fun to recreate on of the outfits. And Oscar, those people who fill out song slips for you want you to sing things you wouldn't sing. I'm the one that changes it to Mr. Roboto because it makes me smile to see you having a good time. Hey gang, it's official, the new home of Spotlight Karaoke is MacFarlane's Olde Towne Grille in Downtown Hiram. Our new night is Friday from 9pm to 1am. MacFarlane's has a full menu and stocked bar just waiting for you. I'll have tunes spinning at 8:30pm and Spotlight Karaoke begins at 9pm. Come on out and join us at our new home. I just know you'll love it.
