Me and my husband have been searching all over the interney and haven't had ANY luck. We're looking for a painting/picture/drawing of a childs room that has Duke University decor. They have them for UGA, GA Tech, Alabama, Auburn, Florida... they are sort of vintage looking. Usually has a little boy sleeping in his bed and has all kinds of banners and sports stuff all over the place.... someone tell me if you know what I'm talking about. And we think it's the same artist who does the little girls room in a very similar fashion. We are HUGE Duke fans really want these for our kids rooms. We have

I am just now hearing from all kinds of people that there is like a 2-3 year waiting list for 3 year old pre-k! How do I even get my son registered and if that's true should I go ahead and register my daughter (she turns 2 in April). I know that the only place that offers it is up at the YWCA Educational Center next to East Paulding Peds. I have been checking out the GA Head Start website and that wasn't really any help at all!! Just hoping I can get some info from parents that have put their kids in this program. Thanks!!

I was getting on here to ask that very same question! I've gotta head to the mall and to party city according to wsbtv.com nb/sb hwy 92 at mile post 11 in paulding is closed. I have no idea where that is.

I was just wondering. I didn't make it to church because traffic was so awful and not moving at all. I know I saw blue lights at some point going by. Just hoping that everyone is okay. I hate to hear about bad accidents so close to Christmas :-(

does anyone know if they are showing movies or just a bunch of shows? just curious. this sounds like something my son would really enjoy.

thanks yall! Keep 'em coming! I watch the food network all the time but I always forget to write down the show and the meal that I like. And when I get on the website my mind goes blank. I think it helps me more to see what everyone else cooks and likes. And my mom was always real picky growing up and she worked night shift so it was always "find it, kill it, eat it" in our house. Or she just fixed box dinners and canned veggies. There is nothing wrong with that. I am partial to Kraft mac-n-cheese myself and a can of del monte green beans! But I need some more options, ya know? So I'm looking

I saw on the news that Hiram High School is being used for a Red Cross shelter now. So... there may not be school until Monday. I THOUGHT (don't quote me on this because it was at 4am) I heard WSB say that Paulding County Schools will be closed again tomorrow. Not trying to start any rumors just putting in what I heard.

My husband may have that problem today. He works out on Fulton Industrial. Anyone know if he takes 75 to Barrett Pkwy then gets on Dallas Hwy into Hiram... Those roads aren't listed on the AJC website but does anyone have any personal experience with those??

WSB and CBS are out by my house and my husband is trying to get home from I20 too. I went out and asked them how they got here from Atlanta and they said they took I-20 to Mirror Lake and took 61 to Ridge Rd.

I just want it to be fun and not too stressful Gee-Tee... I will be making those chicken bacon rolls next cookout!! they literally made my stomach growl!! Surepip... yeah, we're still using the crib. Sorry!!! thanks everyone! I'll let yall know

okay, so i have decided to have a cook out tomorrow. we have just remodeled a house and I wanted to have everyone over to see it. The house has been in my family since the 30's. my great grandparents built it. anyway.... I have invited all of my family and friends over and just realized that I am a little overwhelmed. There is going to be about 55-60 people here and I have no idea how much hamburger meat to buy... or if I should just buy the frozen pre-made patties (i think is going to be my best option). I have my grandmothers bringing several side dishes, someone bringing plates and cups, co

does anyone have information about the cave off of 101?

Hm maybe so. Coming from Aragon it was on the right side of the road. And I really only remember swimming in the ice cold water and my step dad telling me that it used to be a club. -

Aw this brings back memories! I used to live in aragon be hind the old mill. We used to drive out to the cave and go swimming in the spring. I remember it was soooo cold. And I remember my moms ex husband telling me that the cave used to be a bar or club. I drove by there a few years ago and the spring has a big fence thing around it. Seems like my mom said the city or county bought it and made it where no one can get in. -
this is so sad He was an old friend of my mom, dad and uncle. They all went to high school with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

how scary. I have a good friend who's husband is a PC Deputy. And I know a good many more because my mom used to work in the jail. My prayers go out.

I did! Only because we have no shade trees in front of our apartment. When it gets above 70 the house warms up to 80. E have issues in the summer. I did however turn it off oce it cooled down and then opened the windows!
