    Some friends asked me to make a cake for someone. I thought it would be a neat challange. What do you all think? The cake was their idea. They wanted me to make a "bikini" cake. I had to show someone, I was excited. :p

    Good morning all.

    No shopping for me, gotta work.

     

    I had a cooking accident yesterday evening. handmixer. I feel so stupid. 5 stitches. My waiting time in Villa Rica ER was only 15 min. My daughter and I were upset we couldn't finish watching the rest of 7th heaven in the waiting room, haha. Finger is still numb from the lidocaine but ok. I feel so stupid. haha

    I don't know what Lesley's is but here's the one we love:

     

    1 can regular corn

    1 can cream corn

    1 8 oz sour cream

    1 stick of butter

    1 box Jiffy cornbread mix

     

    Melt the butter, mix everything else together. Bake at 350 until it's golden brown. It is SO good!!!

     

     

    2 Tbsp of Sugar too

    There are lots of janitor supply stores in the area. I go to one(don't know the name) it is directly next to the graystone power building in Douglasville. They sell a product called "odor out" the enzymes kill the urine. You need to find a product that has enzymes that eat urine. Take a black light (at night) and run it over the carpet. The urine will glow. Pour it on the glowing spots and wait a few days for it to dry. Believe me, you will notice the difference of the smell in about 12 hours. Vacuum the spot or spots. Then you can carpet clean. I have an orbiter and it works great. You can rent at oreck for about $20. Or homedepot can rent just about any kind of carpet cleaner.

    Do not carpet clean the spot first. It will drive the liquid further in the pad of your carpet. Hope it helps.

     

    I have a carpet cleaner you can borrow when you finish the enzyme cleaner but you really have to do that first or it wont work

    I've been to disney many times (lived in the Tampa/St Pete area for almost 20 years) but I've never been to Very Merry. It closes early and stays open late, they sell only a few tickets and there are no lines. There is hot chocolate all over the park. I think it stays open till 1 or 2

    OMG they are so cute. The bigger one looks like the one I just adopted last month. We saw Dr Luger too, she is great. We have 3 dogs as well. I was a little scared at first but she holds her ground pretty well. Its kinda funny to see her pounce on them. She thinks she is a dog. She gets upset that she cant go out and play with them. I never had an indoor/outdoor cat so I wouldnt know what to do, haha

    Those little kittens really can melt a heart! Mine sure does(even with hubby) My little one is laying in my lap as we speak. She has melted hubby heart so much I had to talk him out of a $300 cat condo, haha :lol: :lol:

    Good for you!! I quit a year ago. The only advice I have is that change helps. I started a new job when I quit and it made it easier. Try and change things that you do. Get out of routine. Pick a different way to work. Different hobby, etc Its worth a try.

    I tried the patch for 2 weeks. It might have cut some of the cravings but boy did I feel drugged. Great dreams though! Entertaining dreams. haha
