  1. Hubby would love to do reloading, but has no idea how to get started or where to learn.
  2. We haven't signed anything, but being that middleschooler doesn't remember his combination and he has no time to use it anyway, that point is moot. I was just curious.
  3. We both did that today for sure. Hubby was trying out a friends XDS 45 ca, I think it's a Smith and Wesson, to see if he really wanted to buy one. It's a really small gun for carry purposes, but the 45 cal was too much. They also make it in 40 cal and 9mm. He wants to try a 9mm now before he commits and plunks down several hundred dollars for a gun he may not actually like. We have a Ruger Mark III that I love and I shot that a lot today. The gun itself is pretty heavy, but with it being only 22 cal, theres no kick at all. The 45 almost took my arm off, hated it!!!
  4. We were willing to pay a little more because it's so close. 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes to an hour depending on where we go. It's $12.00 per hour before 4:00pm and then 1/2 for the second shooter on the same lane. I would suggest to them to have a ladies promotion, where they shoot free or at a discount. And they definitely need to include the gun range rules, calibers they allow, age limits, etc., on the website, which as of yesterday, they didn't. Also, unless I'm completely blind, I couldn't find the phone number on the site either. Hubby and I both looked and looked and never
  5. My daughter and I were having this very discussion yesterday. Hubby and I make a great team and we work really well together on projects and such, but if he gets frustrated for whatever reason, I can offer a suggestion and of course IT WILL NOT WORK. I never argue, I just let him come around and eventually he'll say, 'Ya' know, I think that might work'...........and it usually does. My daughter told him yesterday to just listen next time!! Y-E-A.....not sure that will happen!!
  6. Maybe I'm wrong, but that was a pretty telling statement. But could we both be wrong? NAH!!!!!!!!!
  7. We went to Governors Gun club just in time for the ribbon cutting today. It was packed and there were plenty of employees to help and direct everyone. We had an entire side of the range to ourselves ,which were very nice, well ventilated and well lit. The range manager checked on us several times and was super nice and helpful. It was $18.00 plus tax for both Hubby and me for just at an hour on the firing line. We are definitely going back.
  8. If a student has to pay for a locker or the use of, is it still considered the property of the school? I would think if was free there would be no question, but if you're renting it, is there a difference?
  9. Stop feeding the troll y'all, it's not worth it. If I didn't know better, I'd think former member had changed their name and was back to the same old tricks.
  10. Thanks y'all, we have our fingers crossed, and are stocked up on mashed potatoes, jello and popcicles.
  11. Yes, that's correct. And SPLOST money can't be spent on just anything, it's allocated specifically and I don't think a dog park is included.
  12. As long as my son likes it and is doing well, I'm OK with whatever they think works. He like the longer math and science periods, but the only thing that concerns me there s that he has the same teacher for both so he's in the same class for quite a while. But like I said, he's good with it, so I am too. That's a good idea, then there would be a record for sure. Thanks!
  13. While this is an extreme obit, I've often wondered how to do an obit for a really bad person, I guess now I know.
  14. It's because that's the date they are planning to kill her.
  15. First off, from the tone of your post, there's NO WAY I'd balk at anything you said! And secondly, I'm right there with you on most of your issues. Any country that would allow an eight year old to be 'married' to a 40 year old pedophile shouldn't even be allowed to exist on the planet. Tailgaters, no thank you. And what is up with the bugs? The gnats are driving me crazy!!
  16. As far as I'm concerned, their 'IT people' should have had EVERYTHING up and running a week before school started. Do these people not over the summer? It's like when schedules weren't ready 2 days before school started, didn't they have all summer to figure it out?
  17. The site is back up and I let them know we hadn't gotten a paper. Hubby LOVES reading the paper and hopefully one will be here before he gets back from his run.
