I seriously doubt that the dog and pony show will result in any businesses coming to Dallas. Dallas or should I say the mayor does not seem to be business friendly.

 

Unfortunately, the County has done little in the past few years to try to change the FACT that the good ole boys in Paulding were anti-business. The County will have to offer huge incentives to get business to the County even with the airport. Oh, and they still need sewer and othere infrastructure to support all these businesses if they are able to ge them to come.

I think the recipes from any bread machine manual would owrk. The key is to know what the maximum capacity of your breadmaker is- 1 1/2 or 2 lbs.

We had grandma and a SIL over for breakfast this morning and I had cooked a quiche yesterday and this morning got up and made some waffle batter and we cooked bacon. Yesterday afternoon a uncle and his wife were invited. No big deal there was plenty of food, just double the waffle recipe. Well grandma and SIL get over here and then we find out that the uncle and his wife thought it was at lunchtime and she was making springrolls (she's from Thailand).

 

So, that means I'm going to have to fix something for lunch too. Thank goodness we had smoked a turked yesterday, I roasted some potatoes, stir fried some green beans, made a cake from a box mix with homeade icing and made some white bread in the bread maker.

 

My feet hurt from all the running around but at least I got some great help with the dishes... I am glad Easter is over and grandma gave the baby some money instead of more Easter candy...

You remember all the Easter candy you loved as a kid that you haven't had in years? I got some Peeps and some Cadbury creme eggs for my 2 year old. They were disgusting. Glad he and the dogs will eat them.

I just looked at the radar and it appears that the worst has passed. Unless some small cells pop up but the large strand of storms have moved east. Anybody heard differently?

I took my 2 year old to White Oak yesterday and there was a daycare that obviously had a spring break program and there were kids everywhere. Some of these kids had to be in the 4th or 5th grade and they were kind of rowdy and but they did watch out for the little ones. I was kind of concerned when I saw them running around but they behaved themselves.

I had "distant" relatived that died in Africa and I was deemed the sole heir based on my last name by some entity in Africa. I had to submit all my good personal info to get the $$$.

 

I wonder how many people actually do fall for these emails.

We drove by last year when you were out there and my son had the best time riding the pony. I'm sure he'll like it even more this year.

I am a frim believer in eating less and exercising more. I do like Southbeach. The two first two weeks are rough but you do lose the weight 7-10 pounds on average.
