Mrs. Jennifer Sherye Chastain Lanham, age 27 of Rockmart Georgia passed away on November 3, 2010 at her residence.

 

 

 

Mrs. Lanham was born on December 14, 1982 in Austell, Ga the daughter of loving parents Mr. & Mrs. Olin Blake and Mary Grace Chastain. She worked as a secretary for the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. Jennifer enjoyed horseback riding. She loved her family and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

 

 

 

Mrs. Jennifer Lanham is survived by her loving husband Mr. Thomas Lanham and daughter Miss Mckenzie Lanham of Rockmart, Ga; parents Mr. & Mrs. Olin Blake Sr. (Mary Grace) Chastain of Dallas, Ga; 3 sisters Mrs. Mary Diane Harrell, Mrs. Leslie Blake O’dell & Miss Amanda Michelle Chastain of Dallas, Ga; 2 brothers Mr. Olin Blake Chastain Jr. & Mr. Michael Andrew Newberry of Dallas, Ga; 1 grandmother Mrs. Linda Pritchard of Hiram, Ga; 1 Great Grandmother Mrs. Grace Hollis of Hiram, Ga; nieces and nephews Samantha Harrell, Kila O’dell, Austin Harrell, & Paige Kahler; aunts Judy Messadi, Terri Chastain, Patricia West, Tina Bowman, Marie Shoemaker, & Sheila Chastain; uncles Chris Bowman, Greg Chastain, Stephen Chastain, Clyde West, & Tommy Chastain; and numerous cousins as well as many beloved friends. She was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers Mr. Fred Pritchard & Mr. J.T. Bowman; grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Howard (Ester) Chastain; 2 uncles Mr. Tim Bowman & Mr. Sammy Chastain; aunt Mrs. Lisa Rose; and great aunt Mrs. Cathy Hollis.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Lanham will be held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Mr. Tex Farr, Mr. Daniel Cain, and Pastor Thomas Cole officiating. Pallbearers will include Michael Newberry, Blake Chastain Jr., Steven Watts, Wayne Harrell, Billy Carter, and Nathan Earls. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

 

 

 

Mrs. Jennifer Lanham will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday November 5, 2010 from 4 PM – 9 PM, Saturday November 6, 2010 from 9 AM – 9 PM, and Sunday November 7, 2010 from 9 AM until services begin.
