Anyone that is dissatisfied with the way the Republicans have represented (and embarrassed) us for the last 12 years needs to get off their wallets and send the Avery campaign some money. Didn't hear you calling me names when I voted for Reagan and the two Bushs, Perdue, Isakson.................. Actually Avery is the first Democrat I have voted for since Carter. Carol Porter will be the second and Roy Barnes will be the third. I have never said to anyone that I am a Republican or Republicvan as you say, because i have always proclaimed to be a proud, patriotic, lifelong Democrat, to old friends and "new people" whom I have met over the years. My heritage is filled with family members who served this country through military service and law enforcement as well as public service. I have always let my strong belief in the two party system be known; it is one of the safe guards of this great country of ours. It insures political balance. I respect your right to support the party of your choice. I thank God that I am an American and have the right to support the Democratic Party, the party of my choice. By the way, I think that the "new people" do know better.
