Dorifish
For those that were unable to attend Blake's Memorial...it was very moving. To see that many students/young adults there to show there respect and love, was amazing. I personally did not know Blake, but my DD had PE and lunch period with him this past school year. To the kids that stood up to share: Thank you for your courage! Your sharing brought smiles to many heartbroken others. Blake was obviously loved by many. Please keep this family, as well as the friends of this young man in your thoughts and prayers. And kids, "if you won't buckle up for your parents....buckle up for Blake". (The words of Blake's Mimi.)

Jonger
A new cross seems to pop up every day at the site of his accident. Just earlier I passed by numerous people who had gathered around it. R.I.P.
kjohnson625
A new cross seems to pop up every day at the site of his accident. Just earlier I passed by numerous people who had gathered around it. R.I.P. I honestly believe the crosses that are being erected at the crash site is one way the teens are dealing with the grief of losing a friend. We all grieve in different ways -- I'm sure the teens have a complete understanding of what they are feeling.
