tbird
Just heard this call on the scanner. Rescue, Clarks and deputies are headed there. As the mother of a 26 yr old---conerns me. Accidents can happen so easily.
joemturner
Good grief. I don't mean to make light of this at all, but it seems there is something in the water at Seven Hills lately...

The Sound Guy
Yep, accidents can happen to anyone. My father in law blew a hole in the floor of their house clearing his 30-06 one day after a day's hunting. However, the safety rules still helped because he was pointing it *down* when he pulled the trigger after he thought he had cleared all the bullets from the magazine. This was after 30 years of hunting.

joemturner
Obviously I'm not making light of it. My point is that the subdivision seems to be the site of a number of shooting incidents recently. I simply began my post by clarifying that I didn't want the idiom I used to be interpreted as minimizing the seriousness of the situation(s). Hope the injured party recovers fully... chainshaw1
UNLOAD your gun, before starting to clean it. Why is this so difficult to remember?
