Clark Funeral Home Posted December 11, 2009 Report Share Posted December 11, 2009 Richard Harold “Rick” Berrong, age 43, of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009. He was born August 6, 1966 in Marietta, GA. Mr. Berrong was a wonderful father. He was a collector of gas station memorabilia and enjoyed antique cars. Mr. Berrong attended Freedom Fellowship. Survivors include his wife, Christi Berrong; father, George Whitfield Berrong & wife, Barbara of Powder Springs, GA; mother-in-law, Barbara Brown of Austell, GA; mother, Diana Brasher & husband, Richard of Hayesville, NC; son, Mason Whitfield Berrong of Dallas, GA; daughter, Morgan Leigh Wallace of Dallas, GA; brothers, Robert Cory Berrong of Atlanta, GA and Christopher Berrong of Powder Springs, GA; grandmother, Louise Scroggs of Hayesville, NC. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 13, 2009, at 4:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Bob Neal and Reverend Doc Frady officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. (The body will be cremated after the service.) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway, Hiram, GA 30141 to help with the funeral expenses. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
