I used to live in Fox Ridge Sub., a long long time ago, and there was a man who rode his 4-wheeler with his dog running behind him. It was a bigger dog, so maybe he thought that the dog could benefit from the extra work? I've thought about doing it myself when I'm feeling particularly lazy, but I'd be too embarassed!

That's not at all uncommon for show dogs to be exercised that way. We have done it with a bicycle lots of times.
