Jetsmom Posted June 25, 2007 Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 (edited) If anyone was listening to the scanner on Saturday evening an 11-year old boy was in a bad atv accident. He was air lifted to Egleston Hospital with head injuries. He is ok and at home now. the child is doing ok and has a slight concussion, a black eye and some scratches. ETA: He asked me to post for him. He wanted me to add that he was wearing a helmet and a chest protector. The ER doc said it saved his life. He was riding with a friend when the friend saw his atv running w/o the child. He found him & they called an ambulance. He doesn't remember what happened or the helicopter ride.
