Vote No to Georgia Constitutional Amendment!
DomesticViolenceByProxy posted a topic in RECENT TOPICS
Georgia should VOTE NO to any ballot measure that seeks a state constitutional amendment to abolish Georgia's JQC! I am by no means happy with what the state legislature is doing. I firmly believe the JQC is inadequate, however the proposed state constitutional amendment to abolish the JQC would only result in heightened concealment of judicial misconduct.- 1 reply

Can't get a contempt order with "teeth" for visitation violations? Have you read the fine print? The jokes on me and may be you, too. If your court order assigns one parent "final decision making authority", where the parties don't agree, and you aren't the decision maker, you have an order written on toilet paper. The "decider" has broad decision making authority and anything in that order is subject to the whim of the "decider". This includes your visitation or anything else written in the terms of the custodial agreement. The racket is now in play. This nullity of your state's family law

I know it's extremely short notice but there will be a JQC Rally at today's Judicial Council meeting from 1-3PM. If you want to know what's going on with Georgia judges throughout the state and what the JQC is NOT doing about them, please try to make it out. Everyone is welcome. Leads for this rally are Tina and Cheryl from Stop Parental Bullying out of Augusta. Cheryl will be spokesperson. There will be representatives from Cobb, Coweta and other counties as well. The Rally is at the Sloppy Floyd Bldg in Atlanta. Directions: http://gba.georgia.gov/floyd-room Directions to T

The Clerk of the Superior Court of Columbia County called out a Judge for attempting to hold her in contempt for not following an improper order. The judge emailed the order to her and it was rejected as spam so she never received it. Regardless of this the Order was still improper. Judges in Georgia have simply run amok, abuse discretion, abuse process and abuse power. There is no way to put it but they are finally getting push back since the JQC is toothless. https://www.scribd.com/doc/267802974/AUGUSTA-Judicial-Misconduct-Affidavit-of-Cindy-Mason

Should superior court and magistrate judges have lifetime appointments? Judges that are appointed by governors and then run unopposed for 20-30 years have an antiquated mindset. In the 21st Century, judges are on the wrong side of history. It is time these judges are replaced with a fresh mindset. Having term limits would go a long way towards accomplishing this. There certainly is no shortage of lawyers to replace them. Until term limits can be implemented, recall elections may be necessary to remove some judges.

This has been a fantastic week. So many exciting things with everyone over at proadvocateradio.com and now this ruling. SO HUGE!!!! For any Georgian who has been victimized by by a judge attempting to use a protective order as a gag order, this ruling is for you. Abuse of discretion runs rampant and so often the appellate courts just rubber stamp it. Not this time. Hats off to the Supreme Court and Justice Blackwell for a job well done.

Just because someone is a judge doesn't mean that person has or exercises good judgment. Also, doesn't mean that person should be a judge. Exactly why judges shouldn't run unopposed and if they do they should have to receive X number of votes in relation to the total electorate. If you don't have X number of votes your seat should be vacated and put up for grabs without a designated incumbent.

Apparently it's far easier to buy off judges that interpret laws with Citizen's United money than it is to buy off the legislators that write the laws. You get more bang for your buck too.-

My Advocate Center is one of the better advocacy groups we work with locally and nationally. If you have or know of a "troubled" family law case here in Paulding, Cobb or elsewhere in Georgia, you can contact them or PM me. Family law is a private matter, however, if we don't bring troubled cases into the court of public opinion abuse of the system by so called "legal professionals" will continue under cover of secrecy and darkness. Have you experienced something in Family Court that did not make any sense? Is your family in worse shape after litigation, or after dealings with certa

Does this look like a dad who deserves to be set up to fail and cut off from his children? Do these kids look like they don't need him? Please show up for Brandon and these four young kids who want their father back! Father Joseph "Brandon" McCarthy has been kept away from his young children who are in need of his protection and nurturing care. He was set up to fail in the legal process and jailed for not being able to meet child support requirements that the court professionals knew were unreasonably high and impossible for him to provide. This is wrong and it is happening to many parents,

It's fairly simple. Adversarial custody battles generate revenue. Lawyers want a mess so they can keep their cash cow going. There is no money in amicable agreements. http://youtu.be/gKccdq5Keos

Thomas Smith gives his testimonial about family court. I have heard so many similar stories. You can't make this sheeze up. People go to court thinking they're going to meet a rational, reasonable court process and they run into a buzzsaw of bullcheeze and complete insanity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmWA3Sx0zg4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZtogthEEM4

I think we should go after judicial immunity right here in Georgia. It's a crock and only contributes to corruption. Go get them California!

No surprise here, I've witnessed it personally. A lot of good lawyers remain silent about what they see because they fear losing their license to practice law. Unfortunately that does nothing to turn the tide of injustice. Neil Werner Price 6/24/1999 Respondent, Neil Werner Price, was therein charged with filing court documents that contained false allegations against two District Justices and an Assistant District Attorney. Robert B. Surrick 4/23/2000 The Pennsylvania Supreme Court had suspended appellant Robert Surrick from the practice of law for a period of five

This judge spent 5 years trying to set up the husband of his lover. This is a strange story but the truth is often stranger than fiction. If this is what he does to an innocent man, what hasn't he done over the years to others? Being a judge doesn't make you right and it doesn't mean you have good judgment.
