This was written by a person I've grown to know because we have shared similar experiences. This may as well be an open letter to Tonny Beavers. That there are many judges that do what he does is no excuse. The first quote I cannot confirm to be the case but I have little doubt it is. It is difficult to confirm because judges don't report campaign contributions, much less for uncontested campaigns. http://www.simplyparent.org/single-post/2017/12/12/Dear-Judge---Letter-from-a-Decimated-Parent

What has changed in the 8 years since this video was made public? I don't think anything has. This is exactly why cameras should be in courtrooms. If 2 branches of government are considered corrupt, do you think the third branch isn't?

Having reviewed a number of cases, it's fairly certain that Cobb County courts have reached FUBAR status. Are the judges now eating their own? Maybe there is a need for new judges as opposed to a shuffling of chairs on the deck.

Murder for hire? Nothing a little probation can't fix. I'm not sure a father that did this would be found fit to retain custody of their daughter with the mother making child support payments to help pay for the next attempt on her life.

This is a masterful depiction of #ParentalAlienation by a good friend, Joe Barrow, using an episode of Desperate Housewives. This is how a parent gets into the minds of children. It's difficult to prove, especially when a judge suffers from a severe case of confirmation bias mixed with plain stupidity and a dash of corruption. Judges who in no way protect children don't need to be on the bench. It's even worse when parent hides behind a child and says everything is the child's decision which is true to parentification and adultification tactics (when you empower a child to make adult decis

The Clerk of the Superior Court of Columbia County called out a Judge for attempting to hold her in contempt for not following an improper order. The judge emailed the order to her and it was rejected as spam so she never received it. Regardless of this the Order was still improper. Judges in Georgia have simply run amok, abuse discretion, abuse process and abuse power. There is no way to put it but they are finally getting push back since the JQC is toothless. https://www.scribd.com/doc/267802974/AUGUSTA-Judicial-Misconduct-Affidavit-of-Cindy-Mason

Life has many twists and turns and for those that are afforded the time and opportunity to make amends for past misdeeds, it is a wonderful thing. Congratulations to Chief Judge #TonnyBeavers' law clerk, Roy Yunker, on overcoming his past history to gain admission to the Georgia Bar. With his Bar admission, he joins the Chief Judge and Attorney Angela Albritton Woodall as fellow Alums of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School that serve or have served Paulding County Superior Court. Though not able to help in every situation, Mr. Yunker has always been professional in my limited dealings wit

Just because someone is a judge doesn't mean that person has or exercises good judgment. Also, doesn't mean that person should be a judge. Exactly why judges shouldn't run unopposed and if they do they should have to receive X number of votes in relation to the total electorate. If you don't have X number of votes your seat should be vacated and put up for grabs without a designated incumbent.

I had no idea that Osborne had a tenuous relationship with the DA's office. It explains a lot about how his shenanigans were being exposed. I'm still wondering how supervising Chief Judge Good Ole Boy escapes any scrutiny since Osborne's conduct was on his watch? If you're Teflon Tonny, nothing sticks? BTW, dmn funny to hear prosecutors say the system doesn't work. Are they just bitter because the didn't get their way?

It takes time but change can happen. CT reporter Anne Stevenson's efforts to expose corruption in Connecticut courts yields a joint initiative by 5 federal agencies. Help us bring change to Georgia. If you have or know of a troubling story from Paulding or Cobb courts, please share it. While judges and lawyers may cower behind court reporters falling on their swords, common sense tells us there is more to the story. Change is coming to Georgia courts. Citizen participation is key to expediting this cause.

The "court reporter over-billing problem" is a troubling situation throughout is found to have occurred throughout Georgia. Not only has it occurred in Cherokee County but it has occurred in other counties as well. Gwinnett is most likely next up. Many of us are making great strides in judicial and law reform but we need others that have been impacted to help by coming forward and not being afraid. When is enough, enough? No stone is being left unturned.

If fatherlessness in America is such a problem why do courts remove loving fathers from the lives of children? If it were up to some courts [none specifically mentioned], Mrs. Doubtfire would have been spun into a movie about a father trying to harass the mother or win her back. Not about a father trying to remain relevant and active in his children's lives.

This story has several turns that are of interest. The parties in this story are irrelevant to the story. You are being asked to judge the judges. Let's start here... You are a judge that owns a rental property. Your tenant asks you to provide her with a protective order against her ex boyfriend/husband. Is it appropriate to oblige her request? What do you do?

Are you ok with troubled and even some flat out kangaroo courts going unchallenged? With recent riots whether protesting perceived injustices perpetrated by law enforcement or your favorite sports team's championship, freedom of expression should be safe, orderly and effective. One way for this to occur is to get involved because you live in Georgia. "The first step toward change is awareness, the second is acceptance." Ignoring or dismissing a problem won't make it go away. History reveals it will make abuses and subsequent responses grow exponentially. Please sign this petition for FBI i

If one parent is just a bitter parent who just didn't get their way, why punish parents for speaking out? Why put gag orders on these parents if judges and lawyers are doing the right thing? Why target activist parents? If you have nothing to hide, these "sour grape parents" will only make you look good, right? Or may be these judges and lawyers are racketeering and they're just chickencheeze of the possibility the public will find out and hold them accountable? I do not trust words... I even question actions... I never doubt patterns of professional misconduct It's public record. All you n

Taylor Drake has filed a motion in behalf of John Murphy that Michelle Murphy be fined $500/day for speaking out about her troubled custody case in Newnan. Both parties have made posts on their respective social media pages concerning the case so I would think the "Clean Hands Doctorine" would apply at the very least. Apparently the boys 13 and 16 are not given say in their own custody case as evidence and their own testimony has been suppressed by the court and legal professionals of interest in the case. It seems the court of public opinion is weighing the evidence that the trial court h

My Advocate Center is one of the better advocacy groups we work with locally and nationally. If you have or know of a "troubled" family law case here in Paulding, Cobb or elsewhere in Georgia, you can contact them or PM me. Family law is a private matter, however, if we don't bring troubled cases into the court of public opinion abuse of the system by so called "legal professionals" will continue under cover of secrecy and darkness. Have you experienced something in Family Court that did not make any sense? Is your family in worse shape after litigation, or after dealings with certa

Does this look like a dad who deserves to be set up to fail and cut off from his children? Do these kids look like they don't need him? Please show up for Brandon and these four young kids who want their father back! Father Joseph "Brandon" McCarthy has been kept away from his young children who are in need of his protection and nurturing care. He was set up to fail in the legal process and jailed for not being able to meet child support requirements that the court professionals knew were unreasonably high and impossible for him to provide. This is wrong and it is happening to many parents,

Thomas Smith gives his testimonial about family court. I have heard so many similar stories. You can't make this sheeze up. People go to court thinking they're going to meet a rational, reasonable court process and they run into a buzzsaw of bullcheeze and complete insanity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmWA3Sx0zg4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZtogthEEM4
