  1. Today I recieved the rest of my Best Buy order which was sent to me in two shipments. The shipment I recieved today was supposed to be 2 video games, what I recieved was a movie I never heard of & the 3rd season of Arrested Developent (which I don't watch). I called Best Buy.com & twice & both times I was connected to a customer service rep. that did not understand what I was telling her & I sure didn't understand them (didn't speak English well, at all). Finally on the 3rd try I asked for a manager, which the customer service rep refused to connect me to. Eventually, I have it worked out (I think) we will see when I get my order.

  2. I saw the new bleachers today at school. They're right behind one of the field goals. When Chas kicks the ball through there won't it hit the people sitting there? LOL. And who can sit there? EP people or Starr's Mill people...or both?

    edit to say:

does anyone know if it will be raining tomorrow at the game? if so, i'll make sure i bring my BLACK umbrella :p

i just turned on the tv to look at the weather. it looks like it'll be raining a bunch tonight. if the weather gets too bad--thunder, lightning, ect, and they have to call off or pospone the game do we get a refund?

East Paulding website says that they would like to have EP people in the bleachers in the end zone behind the field gold. As far as the game being called off or rescheduled I believe it would have to be a bad storm w/ lightening. Weather.com has the sun coming out for the rest of the day at 3:00. Actually I just went to weather.com & it has changed to partly cloudy beginning at noon, not sunny as forcasted yesterday.

  3. I thought that McEachern had a ton of money anyway. Do they not get part of the money that was left to the school, that is distributed each year? I thought that the man the school is named after left them a lot of money in his will.

  4. A couple of years ago I heard there would be a Wal-mart in New Ga. I heard it would be at 61 & ridge Rd. on the corner cattie corner to New Ga. Baptist Church. Things have changed, my husband moved to New Ga. as a kid when Ridge Road was a dirt Road.

  5. I got hit by one that just popped up out of nowhere on Ceadarcrest. It was before all the subdivisions and shopping centers were there.

I hadn't made my first payment on my Blazer when it happened.

They are still on Cedarcrest. I live in Bentwater & a couple of days ago 7 dear ran across my neighbors yard around 5PM. Me & my son were in the yard & we just looked at each other stunned. Good thing the neighbors kids were not out playing in the yard.

  6. My mother-in-law had to send a mold sample off to a company to test for black mold. If you think it is black mold I could call & ask her where she sent the sample.

  7. It near the dollar store (imagine that). Its called Camp offroad Adventures.

Who runs this Camp offroad adventures? I grew up in Helfin & my parents & brother still live there. We went muddin, but it wasn't organized. We just jumped in the truck w? our boy friends & had fun.

  8. Maybe you should try Dr. Kimmerling on Dallas/Marrietta Hwy. behind the Dairy Queen. I walked in to check out the office & they gave me a certificate for $100.00 for any service, so I went home & made an appointment for a cleaning. At the appointment they asked me about xrays & I said I didn't want them, they said ok we can have your previous ones transfered. They cleaned my teeth, called my Insurance to find out what they would pay & I still walked out of the dentist office w/ a 51.00 credit because of the $100.00 certificate/coupon.

  9. we do it in our neighborhood also. Someone booed us & leaves us a letter w/ instructions & a drawing of a ghost to put in our window. Then we boo 2 people & they boo 2 people & it goes on until everyone has been booed. We make a up a bag of candy to leave at the door (this year we used plastic pumpkins filled w/ candy, halloween pencils, halloween cups, etc.). We leave it at the front door, ring the door bell & run.
