It was dead over 100 years before the Stone Mountain Carving was complete. So, if it hadn't died in the eyes of the people who hired the artists, it hasn't died sense then. 1972 was when it was complete, and 1865 was when the war was lost. What goes around is not noticed until it comes around. That is about how much faith you guys have in history. But, you'll never see as much emotion expressed, by anyone, as by conservatives when something bad comes around.

I don't understand how a Southern Christian, or any other Christian, can identify with the rich, nor the bigots. it sounds like talking the talk, but neglecting the walk. Anybody can say they are a Christian, and then go out on the town like being a narcissist of the third kind, and vote where the scale shows results that the rich man won. .

I understand, but we don't need that big of a reminder. To me it disfigures the beautiful rock. Treasonous people had that carving made. It is an eye sour upon the grounds of U.S. soil. If you care about the truth then you would march with the people who want that shameful carving on Stone Mountain removed.

What do we see when we notice each other in church, at the polls, or just out and about? Can we tell whether other people love their fellow human beings or not? Can we say with honesty that people would not vote to have Jesus Christ deported, because he is some kind of liberal maniac who is not goodr for this country's well being? A lot of things have not happened today because of what people have learned from history. Some thing we have to learn from our own history. I don't think you are wasting your time G D! You get a lot of views commenting on my posts. People can understand conservatism much better when you guys express yourselves in opposition to me. What I post are words and phrases that as factual as I can make them. I may error a little, but at least I study history. Of course, it's time to love people who love our country, G D! But, it's hard to love people who cherish Confederate memorabilia. They should be ashamed, in my book. I'm oppressed by the fact that a minority group is the only organization who want rebels, against this country, to finally bite the dust. Sherman didn't do a good enough job in Georgia. We see each other all the time if we get out away from home. We don't talk about Church nor politics outside, closed door meetings, much. We can see the results of what occurs after we have gone to Church, and have gone to the polls, however! This country may call themselves a Christian following country, but this country's politics is indeed separate from Church. Christians, in this country, show their politics even though we don't know who each other voted for at the polls. Americans were taught a fairy tell story, which did consist of a lot of facts, but left out a lot of facts. Archeology is a time consuming way to dig up evidence. The politics of the situation is very different from the the religious view of the situation. How can people know the Elephant in the Church, but vote for the Elephant at the polls, which are very different.
