I vote it's that one...the fact is, it started this crap right before the hack and it's continued since the hack...the BOTS started showing up just before the hack, too...

I don't thin Pubby is suggesting that we all do that...I think there's more to what he's going to say, but in true Pubby fashion, he's delivering in his own time. The fact is, we've had MANY more people online before without problems...this is something else going on. <_<

I, for one, have been noticing a myriad of VERY OLD posts popping back up on the recent topics page. Two of the things you mentioned were such. Is there anyway to "archive" things that are past a certain date, so that new responses cannot be made to them after dregging them up from the depths of who knows where?! I know I've found myself guilty of responding to threads because they showed up on the recent topics page and then realizing they were from 2 years ago. And, I actually got "offline" earlier b/c it was extremely frustrating trying to even check a pm. <_<
