I did that for two months once. I went to the Putnam Bludgett Wilderness Camp (I think 1975?) and we hiked the Appalachian for the entire time. No AMC huts either - we stayed in the lean-to's.
I wasn't even thought of then
Sorry, AM, had to!!

1. Pilot a plane
2. Hang-glide
3. See my children acheive their goals
4. Be able to choose the kind of home I live in and car I drive and pay for it comfortably.
5. Find TRUE happiness (in myself, THEN with someone)

I love helicopter rides. Maybe they are having it for New Years?

Is "Muddy Butt" in the dictionary?
Ewww!
It wasn't that bad, but (no pun intended) it'll make you scared to get too far from a potty!
-
Would you care to explain why?
Umm, no. I would not. It ain't pleasant
-
Yeah, I tried it for a couple of weeks. One bit of advise........
DO NOT, I REPEAT....DO NOT EAT GREASY FOODS WHILE TAKING ALLI.
Nuff said.

Are there any RC Plane people/flyers around here?
My dad has an RC Helicopter(s) that he flys (or is it flies?) a lot. Goes to that little "airport" in Powder Spgs going out toward Acworth.

Try a 3 yo and AND 8 yo AND a 10 yo. I'm more doomed than any of you.
ETA: All by one dad, and my only previous marriage.
Ditto............ ::sigh::
Single, 30, three kiddos.
I think they are all great. Someone would be missing out if they passed up a chance because of them.

SS, if you want some, I know where to find them.....
I want the pink argile ones on that web site, but I'm not paying $50 for them

I pluck mine. They're not really thick or thin, but I like to give them a better shape. I have heard that if your eyes are on the small side, it's better to go thinner with your eyebrows. Not like super thin though.
I was told not to call it " plucking "
You "pluck" a chicken.......... You TWEEZE your brows

Oh no!
Do we need a rescue mission!?!?
I'm not going in there!
Any volunteers?

se1915,
As you know I am running for Sheriff. The article you quoted, ironically, was published a short time after I asked where he was when 2 Paulding County teenagers were killed in a car crash and EPHS students were in a panic due to a possible gang attack. He was "out of the area."
During the Merchants Drive murder the entire leadership team was "out of the county" and Pubby had to find out the information, because, no one would put any out.
I have tried to stay positive and I did not call Randy Travis on this story nor any other. In addition, I don't know who did.
This Sheriff may be your friend, but, you can't honestly say that he is doing a great job. Just this week have you recently seen how many car crashes we have had?
For informational purposes, if someone that is not a law enforcement official is driving the Sheriff's car and they are hit by another driver the county can get sued, big time. Worse, if a criminal thinks that the driver is a law enforcement official the criminal may very well shoot the driver.
Having your wife and stepdaughter work with you while you are the Sheriff is at the very least unethical.
I was not here when the Sheriff was a bootlegger, but, because, the standard was set that low does not mean that we should keep it there.
This county now has well over 100,000 people in it. This department needs to be prepared to provide the level of service for well over 100,000 people.
It is always good to remember the past, but, we still have to embrace the future. I have never said he is not a nice guy, but, he is not doing a good job.
Sincerely,
jk
ELECT JK ROGERS
SHERIFF 2008
I think that just backfired! You didn't help yourself a bit!

I suggest he start doing what my husband does...he never takes the same route to work or home 2 days in a row...Why? He's got it in his crazy brain that I'm going to pay someone to kill him..You wouldn't believe how many times I have said that will never happen and that I really do like having him around us. It is another one of his quirks that I love along with the one in the electric blanket thread.
I remember you telling me this little story years ago!! Still makes me chuckle!! (IMO........yall are both pretty darn lucky to have each other!!)

Thank you, thank you, thank you little voice that wouldn't let me get ANY of my ex's names anywhere on my body.
I saw a guy one time who had "Pam" tattooed on his arm, and it was "X"ed out!!
Oh, BTW, I do have one. I think about getting another, just don't know what it'll be. I like em' a lot......... Not so much the tramp stamps, though.

I just wanted to say that the 8th grade boys played good today, but you could tell that by the end of the game they were wore out. I am the parent of a 2nd string player that has yet to play. I feel like our coaches need to use our 2nd string boys more than they do. They will never get any game experience if they are not used. It has really affected my son's self cofidence about his ability to play. We keep encouraging him to hang in there. Has anyone ever had this problem at South Paulding before? P.S. There are some boys that play offense and defense while ours stand on the sidelines. It's just not fair to our boys and the parents who devote their time to the team.
who won???
