    I totally agree with you! I've been going to WestRidge for a few months now, and I feel wonderful each and every time. What a great place, and a great message to start your week off RIGHT! When Matt spoke 2 weeks ago, when he made those final remarks about being strong and removing 'our helmet', I litarally rose to my feet and started clapping.

    Then, last week when Bryan called people up 'who needed a hug, or support', I started balling, because of the amount of faith and trust people have in this church! (If you were there at the 2nd service, you know what I'm talking about)

    I only have this to say......I feel like I am in the right place when I'm there. What a wonderful job they are doing! :wub:

    Disipline, yes, but no need to scream at your kid. There is no reason for that.

    I say, get down on the kids level, and say " I told you to get down. This is your LAST chance. One more time, and we will go to the car, and I will spank your butt!" And BY GOD, STICK TO IT!!

    Chances are, the 'protector' may be there. Perfect opp. for you to thank them all. You may be suprised that the family (some of them, anyway) has turned their lives around. Hopefully this man will pull through, and it (your visit) is surely to brighten their spirits! Think if the situation was reversed, would'nt you be pleased to see someone who meant so much to your brother? Go on, go see him......

    Heather Hill at the 'Beauty Nook' in downtown Dallas. She is great with color, and any style I've shown her (believe me it's been several) I've left very happy. I call myself her guinie pig, because I love to try any color I can, and when she gets new books, ect. I'll say "just do it"!! I highly recommend her. :D

    OOOOHHHHH! I have this neighbor.......

    dang-it, I just can't say much more. Everyone knows about this site!

    I say the sky is blue, (neighbor) says sky is slightly grey.

    I say a certain resturant is a good place to eat, (neighbor)says she heard the most awful story......

    You get the picture.

    Let me have my say, Lady. Just shut up. Just for a minute. :D

    Is there anyone out there that performs the never ending task of picture organization? I have shoe box fulls of photos (new and old) and I never seem to get started putting them in albums. I know that someone out there must enjoy and profit from this. If you know of anyone, send me some info. please! Hopefully it's not to darned expensive, but I need help!! :wacko: Evertime I develop another roll, they get looked at and admired, and then put in another box.... I'm not looking for scrapbooking, just organization. HHHEEELLLPPP. Thanks! :D

    Don't want to toot my own horn or anything, :D but, a lot of times when we go out, the server will comment on " what well behaved and well mannered children" we have. I wish it wasn't so few and far between that they see this out of families these days. My kids are 8 & 11 (and a 10 month old), and they are EXPECTED to say yes, ma'am, and yes, sir (the 2 that can talk :rolleyes: ) and clean up after themselves. They also have to be respectful of others in the resturant. We still have a great time, and you will occasionally hear us bust out in laughter :D ! But, Thats the way I was raised (Thank God) and hopefully they will do the same. It's the least I can do, and it works for us, not to mention that the respect they show makes others feel good. More parents should take the time to do the same. **Thats my opinion...***
