I'm right there with ya! I worked in downtown Atlanta, and it took me 9 hours to get home in Austell. Since then, when the word SNOW was mentioned, I paid big time attention. I never wanted to experience that again. I know how the folks felt yesterday and today, trying to get home. Been there, done that...

Lady Raider has very good intentions, with her post / no offense, LR! Folks, do stay home. No sense in getting out there, to go "joy riding." Believe it or not, there's people still trying to get home from yesterday, and they've been on the roads for HOURS. -
This morning, I has a 9:00 meeting with a client -- weather fine when I left the house. 10:15 - I'm heading back home, flurries were coming down, with "dusting" collecting on the roads. Thankfully I didn't have to leave Dallas. Given the time frame, I can't help but wonder why the schools didn't get the buses rolling till a couple hours later..Could have been avoided...

With the school buses being on the road, taking kids home, do exercise consideration, patience, and caution, with the buses, more so than usual.

BTW -- while I was out, briefly this morning, I did notice that some Power Company Contractors were trimming back some of the tree branches, near the power lines -- probably as a precautionary....
