  1. Kneeling can be a sign of respect. Kneeling instead of standing says, I won't disrespect the flag, but I am not happy with the current state of affairs in my country.
  2. That bullcheese. Are you saying those don't stand for National Anthem or Pledge of Allegiance to a "flag" do not have pride their Country. I for one have just as much pride in this country as you do or anyone else.
  3. I find no mention of a "national anthem" or a "flag" in the US Constitution. When did we first start having an official "national anthem"? When did we start standing for it? Under what circumstances, and who advocated that action? I loath virtue-signaling patriotism. When you know that most of them haven't read the Constitution since middle school, if that. Patriotism isn't found in standing for a song at an athletic event. Or pledging "allegiance". It's a bit more than that...
  4. I enjoy football, baseball, basketball, soccer. etc. I guess I'm just a SOB.

  10. I was able see in early80's at Lanierland Music Park. Between him and Tom T. Hall one favorite.
  11. I forget what place call but it was on Atlanta Rd At across railroad tracks near Base there. That was back middle 70's. Also was a Lounge on Alanta Rd it was more a pool hall . Shot of pool in mine younger years.
  12. Spent many Friday and Saturday nights Buckboard. Only act I seen was David Allen Cole. That was in early 80's.
  13. Riding around Daily Queen was about only entertainment we had when I was a teen It was that or go Shoney in Marietta.
  14. was Cobb Cinema on South Cobb Parkway. Near Zayre. I saw Love story and ET at that theater. I saw The Exorcist at Phillip Plaza in Atlanta. First time play $5.00 to see a movie.
  15. I shop at Woolco. It was where Burlington Coat was on Roswell Rd in Marietta Burlington Coat no longer there.
