This debate in the courts is really about division and control. Obama has divided us in all that makes us individuals. He has divided us by race, by religion, by wealth, by immigration status, educational levels and by gender. This particular attack on individualism involves religious freedom which is a direct attack on our Constitution. This is a push and shove which is what Saul Alinsky taught Obama to do.

I think we already do pay for toothpaste through food stamps. Meanwhile I struggle to pay our grocery bill and the rest of the 20 bills I have each month working two jobs. Maybe these people are the unwanted children they were talking about. We should have prevented them from living in the first place?

The government did not pay for my two kids either. Matter of fact my kids were educated with my money and have never received anything from the government. Wonder how that happened.

Question for this topic. Can a person on food stamps buy condoms with food stamps / EBT card? I will refer you to what someone else said. Are you going to eventually issue permits to responsible parents only to have kids? Meaning, if we have to pay for it then we should control it right? I would rather we do not pay for anyone's children and let the pain begin. People become responsible when there is pain. Let the laws take effect and stop easing the pain by making me pay.

First of all I would never collect food stamps, ever. But should someone collect them if they win the lottery.....no. The amount does matter Eddie.

Oh and what about their eating habits, should we control what they eat? And how they drive. What if they get in a car accident? We might want to drive them to their destinations. Where do we stop? The money she is getting is a pittance to the government. They dont care that she got a check, its not regular income so she should just stay the course, although I hate the food stamp program for the able. The people the government want to catch is the guy working under the table driving a $60,000 pickup and collecting food stamps, welfare and not paying his child support. They are not looking to arrest single mothers who got a windfall.

The redistribution of wealth that is happening in the Obama administration is immoral and against every principal I stand for. I dont want anyone to give me anything, I want to earn it myself. If you allow people to have personal responsibility over their own lives things would be much better. Look back to the years of personal responsibility in the 40's and 50s and you will see it works.
