My dad taught me with a 69 Chevy Kingswood wagon(forest green) And I drove as my first car a 67 bug. What a difference.
The Kingswood was a tank. Use to practice on the backroads of the Ocala national forest. Drove off the road quite a few times. About gave him heart failure.

just don't care for the cup holders.
30 + Miles a gal.
Have a Passat Turbo/Tiptronic auto. Have you had the timing belt replaced yet.. In the VW's the whole front of the car has to come off.
And heaven forbid it goes before you have it changed at recomended mileage.
