  1. I knew way more than I thought I would... it was a TON of FUN!!!  We need more people to come out next time!!  We need someone who is full of movie knowledge,,,, that seemed to be our weak point.  Especially the newer movies and actors.

Thanks County-line and your twin for letting me know about this.  I had a blast!!

    County-line says your very welcome!

  2. Yep,,, I wish that song was going through everyones head last night when we missed the last question.

You are right PPS... the answer was Gunsmoke.  :(

And your prize for having the winning answer is a head seat at next months BWW Trivia Table!!!

    Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D  :p  :D  :p

We have a ringer err... winner!

  3. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Like I said, just trying to make sure there are no surprises down the road for Smokin'.

As a 'gift' it should be non-taxable. But if it shows up as extra cash in the drawer, will he have to show it as income???

Do we have any accountants out there who can answer this???

I'm going to smokin's and help him out..

  4. If it ended up in the 'till' would they have to report it as part of the daily receipts?

What would the IRS say if they did an audit?

Just asking questions to make sure that there are no 'surprises' down the road.

I would think their register keeps track off what is keyed in from the ticket and when its closed out gives a break down total.I think it's much a do about nothing myself.

  5. I will try to get out there this weekend.

One thought. Someone needs to check with a tax expert to make sure this is done so Smokin' does not have to show it as taxable income.

I'm not worried about the givers end being non-taxable. I'm just worried that if it's not done correctly, the Bunkhouse could end up with a big tax bill.

I'm doing a keep the change thing.

  6. Thank Buttercup!!    :D

PS...read all the "hoopla" about your avatar....I Like It!!  I didn't get to see her "pink bra", must have missed when she was wearing it.

PSS  Hope this isn't what they call "hijacking" a link :o , just thought I'd thank you for letting me know where the BBQ place was. :D

Thank you for helping us out!! :)

  7. Thank you everybody for responding! It's going to cost a bit. I talked to my mechanic and he can get one for about 1700.00 with a 3year 50k But in talking to him there is still hope for smokin's engine. I have to talk with him to get the low down though.. Great to hear some are going over for lunch today. I'll see you there.!!

  8. As smokin was preparing to leave last night from Buffalo Wild Wings,he related about how he was sooo looking forward  to getting in the ole kidney buster(his 61 Willy's) to run and take care of business today. I want to change that. Let's face it Smokin's not made of money and a new engine for his Toyota is a big hit in the wallet. :( The bunkhouse is holding it's own and thats good. The problem is for right now IMO Its not going to produce a 22re block with heads to get Smokin down the road without a little help from us, :) his Pcom family. I would like to propose a GET SMOKIN A ENGINE WEEKstarting right away. Here's is what I think we should do. Go visit the Bunkhouse BBQ and Wings over the next 7 days that he is open and double up the amount of your bill to help put the ole kidney buster  away and get smokin back in his old rig! :) I'm going to see my old Toyota Mech today and see what kind of goal we need to set and I'll report back. Now I know smokin is a proud guy and probably will be shakin his head when he reads this but,I think with as much as smokin gives to us, we can give back to him.

Hey smokin... See you for lunch!! ;)

P.S. If you can't get out and want to help PM me or County-line(my twin brother) and lets talk.

  9. Yeah, but they told me they were a subcontractor as the county doesn't want to pay workers overtime!  I never put the NEomaxom together w/ the CHECK i just wrote for membership!
