CitizenCain replied to CitizenCain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Looks like we are going to have to put a bucket in the pilot's cockpit and put a stop to these bathroom breaks. -

During these mergers jobs are most always lost and overlapping services eliminated. -
At the risk of going all evangelistic on pcom..... Indiana to pass law that could allow discrimination against gays
CitizenCain replied to Brian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Discrimination will not change overnight maybe not ever but as long as we have politicians that are willing to perpetuate discrimination to garner votes and keep themselves in office it's certainly not going to go away. -
Indiana to pass law that could allow discrimination against gays

I will never forget back on bloody sunday, during the march on Selma an Alabama reporter on TV stuck his microphone into the face of a little seven or eight year old child and asked "Why are you marching little girl"? she was obviously too young to understand what this march was all about so she just said "Freedom" he pressed the little girl "Freedom to do what child" confused she replied "Just Freedom" he turned to the camera laughing and said "Well there you have it folks they really don't know what they want". After all these years I still remember that reporters attempt to humiliate that -

You know why straight White Christians favor the "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" law because they know damned well that law will never pertain to them. -
Indiana to pass law that could allow discrimination against gays

Maybe we should start by amending the constitution from "We The People" to "We The People ; just not Gay, Lesbian, Islamic, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern....aw hell let's just go ahead and say it "Only White Christians preferably Southern Baptist " allowed. -

If we live in a free society I suppose a hungry Black gay couple has the freedom to drive around town until they finally find a restaurant that will seat them, a gas station that will sell them gas or a hotel that will rent them a room. It may be the kind of world stradail wants to live in but I would prefer not to. -

These sorts of narrow minded laws always seem to have a way of growing out of control. One day it's the baker that refuses to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple, then it's a restaurant that refuses to seat an Islamic couple. Then we will have a builder that advertises his new subdivision as an all White Christian neighborhood. -
You may have seen this on the evening news, you might want to call your teenaged driver into the room and show him/her what not to do. AAA: 58 percent of teens involved in traffic crashes are distracted “Access to crash videos has allowed us to better understand the moments leading up to a vehicle impact in a way that was previously impossible,” said Peter Kissinger, president of the AAA Foundation. “The in-depth analysis provides indisputable evidence that teen drivers are distracted in a much greater percentage of crashes than we previously realized.” Teens have the highest crash

That built a castle... The French palace, Le Palais Idéal (“The Ideal Palace”), in Hauteriveswas built by a mail carrier out of the rocks he collected on his route over a 30-year period. 19th century postal carrier Ferdinand Cheval would walk 18 miles each day to deliver the mail in the southeastern France village. One day, he came upon an interesting-looking rock and decided to build a castle https://www.yahoo.com/makers/postmans-incredible-diy-castle-draws-huge-crowds-114511632565.html

It seems it doesn't matter if you are in a parked car, you are lying on your stomach with your face buried in the snow or you're a naked man running around in a parking lot there always seems to be an excuse for deadly force. We can of course expect in the coming weeks for a systematic campaign to paint this man as everything from a drug crazed maniac to a killer of small animals. You can bet a virtual army of investigators are at this moment digging up every slanderous thing they can find from the time he was eight years old until now, it's 101 for police shootings. But whether true or not

A recent report numbers fatal police shootings at around one thousand per year. That does not include the beatings or the ones that survived their wounds. That amounts to a 9-11 attack every three years in America at the hands of those that have sworn to protect and serve. HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania police officer was charged Tuesday with criminal homicide after investigators concluded she shot an unarmed motorist in the back as he lay facedown after a traffic stop over an expired inspection sticker. "At the time Officer Mearkle fires both rounds from her pistol, the video
