They had a tractor trailer stuck at the very same intersection yesterday afternoon...

Tried him; was NOT happy with him.
He definitely isn't for everyone. We have used him for over 20 years and love him. He doesn't always have the best bedside manner, but I have found him to be in a better mood earlier in the mornings. I DO love that we can always see him the day we call him sick. He doesn't give meds if they aren't absolutely necessary which is perfect for me, as I detest having to take any meds. I also love how he tells you exactly like it is. My Dad didn't care for him much either, but he did more for him than his VA PCP did.

Try Dr. Sayeed, 770-445-6000. He is next to Paulding Hospital.

Yikes! Thanks.

Does anyone have an updated score for East/Rome?

You guys are in our thoughts and prayers! Much love!!
Wendy, Shane, and family.

Wow. I am right here in the same area as you. I didn't notice anything, but I hope everything works out for you and you get our stuff back.
BTW..being attached sentimentally to a pressure washer is not silly. That was your Dad's things. My dad has been gone 19 months yesterday and I am still very sentimental over his things. Those were things he treasured, so I feel I should as well. He didn't have much, but he worked hard for and appreciated what he did have.

Thanks so much ladies. He was definitely the best Daddy I could have ever asked for..and even more. He was a stern disciplinarian when we needed it, but always had open arms and plenty of unconditional love to share. I have been VERY blessed!!

Greg will be greatly missed! He was such a kind and caring man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and co-workers.

Hopefully this was just an older gentleman who was needing to know where the new courthouse is at and not up to anything sinister.

the sign at the school says home opener tonight vs SPHS so I guess they couldn't play two games in one night.
I thought that game was next week. It would be fantastic if it was tonight.

I haven't read through all the postings, but I have done this several times when money is tight.
Night 1: pot of pinto beans..with corn bread, potatoes (whatever you have on hand, cooked however you want), mac and cheese.
Night 2: use left over pintos to make chili.
Night 3: hot dogs with chili and slaw.
Night 4: chili cheese burgers.
A note on the "dicky d's"..we always called this potatoe-weiner casserole. Fry potatoes with onion, when potatoes start getting tender, put hot dogs in it and cook until done. Goes great with mac and cheese and jiffy corn muffin mix. =) My kids have a fit if we don't have it often. It's a cheap, but quick meal.

So the road was blocked then? Where was it at? Closer to the neighborhood end?
The fire truck was about halfway, close to the creek.

Everything looked fine when I went through there this morning at appr. 8am. There was a couple of places the kids thought they saw some charring. I just wish someone could've let me know about it before I drove my big ole bus down there and had to back it out to an accessible driveway.

Yes, they are an insert like before.
I suspect the folks at the New Era had some left over but not enough to insert one in every copy of the paper. I offered to send them some more to make sure all of them did but I think they thought they had enough.

Ok, thanks! Maybe the folks who bought a New Era with an insert will let us know which stores have them. =)

My kids and I absolutely enjoyed using some of our prize (Stars and Strikes fun package) from Tuesday's game. Thanks again!! We will definitely be tuning in for Thursday's game!

I didn't see them in the New Era at the store I stopped at, so I didn't purchase any. Is it a flyer just like last week?

I came by shortly after the accident, and it didn't look like any vehicle was on fire. The "smoke" looked liked radiator steam to me.
I hope that's all it was...
Anyone know the ones involved and how they are doing?
-
I was at the light when it happened, but all I saw was the van shift after hearing the hit and the car hitting the pole. The car did appear to be on fire (LOTS of smoke billowing from hood)and one gentleman was trying his best to get the drivers door open, but it appeared that they may have gotten them out the passenger side just before rescue pulled up. I left when rescue got there. I am trying to post facts, without any speculation here. I hope and pray that all are okay and am very thankful that we still have many citizens who will jump out of their comfort zones to help perfect strangers as they did.

Can you give us the general info on the classes, such as days/hours and price?
-
Many thoughts and prayers for the family. May God give you the peace and comfort needed.

I was caught behind a wreck in front of Mt Tabor park about 45 minutes ago. little red car.. I don;t know what it hit..
I saw that one, also. It appeared they loaded one on a stretcher out of a dark colored pick-up that was sitting on crow circle, the little road across from the park. With the traffic and lighting, I couldn't see the whole scene clearly.
