  1. I was worried about you and Amy during the hurricane.
  2. Thanks. Of the 10 trees that are down, 6 are red oaks that are anywhere from 40-60' in length. There's one maple about 45' in length, a pine about 60' in length, a dogwood, and another one I have yet to determine because it's in the bottom of a pile of trees that came down at once. First I'll cut off all the branches and then cut up the trunks. Once that's all done, I'll rent a wood chipper and chip up the branches; which should provide me a lot of mulch. I'll rent a bobcat and a hydraulic log splitter as well. I can load the bobcat and dump the wood wear I want to split and stack it. I
  3. We got hammered by Irma here in northeast Georgia. I lost ten trees all together at my place, most of them very large red oaks. Our power has been out since late Monday night and it looks as if school will be out the entire week because most of the county is without power.
  4. Exactly. He feels he is superior to us, hence why he resorts to insulting us every time submits a post. When I read the article and the author's description how intolerant Antifa is and how superior they feel, etc; my first thought was she was describing pubby as well. Pubby can sit there all he wants and say how uncompromising the Republicans may be, but he has yet to admit how uncompromising his beloved party is. Once again demonstrating how many on the left hold the Republicans to a much higher standard than they hold those in their own party.
  5. Your post has absolutely nothing to do with the OP. Move along.
  6. I found this to be very enlightening. I wonder what others think? https://medium.com/indian-thoughts/on-leaving-the-sjw-cult-and-finding-myself-1a6769b2f1ff#.vpkdl6l0c

I'm going to do the same thing. I have a lot of trees and I have a funny feeling I will be using my chainsaw once this storm is over.

    Irma

I just saw the latest models for Irma on TV and it looks like it will hit land just south of Tampa. This puts it ApolloBeachDad right in its path. My cousin and his family live in Ft. Myers. His wife posted on FB yesterday that they were evacuated to a shelter further north, but now that the projected path of Irma has shifted, it appears they won't be much better off than they were at Ft. Myers.

I'm glad you posted this as it's important. My biggest concern when this hits us in the trees. My property is nothing but trees - big ones and many are close to the house. I think we will go out of town for the weekend. Visiting family in Michigan sounds good right now.
  10. I see Burke County is on the list, but Richmond is not. Richmond adjoins Burke on Burke's north side. Augusta is only 25 miles north of Waynesboro (Burke County seat).
  11. They don't care. So are so full of sheeze.
  12. Actually, you and pubby are the ones making the allegation, therefore you have the burden to prove you're right.
  13. He is a veteran and you're right; Antifa is nothing but scumbags. They are just as bad as the KKK and neo-nazis they oppose. It's amazing how there are people at this site who support and attempt to justify their actions. We even have one who claims it's not the Antifa members committing the violence, but members on the right who infiltrate their ranks and he can't even provide one shred of evidence to support his absurd claim.
  14. You don't see the difference? The people in your video weren't being assaulted, they were being carried out and removed because they were placed under arrest by the police. They staged a die-in in the halls of a building of senate offices impeding others rights to get to their offices for work. They were chanting and being disruptive, again impeding the rights of others to work. The police were doing their job. In the video I provided, Antifa shows up to conduct a counter-demonstration of another groups demonstration. The Antifa group disregards the law and assaults a man in a wheelch
  15. A lot of people seem to think so. I remember one time the family and I went to a rodeo in Marietta. While there I was standing out by the concession area watching some members of PETA yelling and carrying signs saying how cruel the rodeo was to horses and cows. One lady who was handing out animal rights pamphlets came up to me and tried to hand me one. I looked down at her feet and noticed she was wearing leather loafers. I yelled out, "Hey everyone, she's wearing leather shoes." Everyone around me began looking at her shoes and started yelling out how she was a hypocrite because she
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuTyBLtlbd0 Antifa is a bunch of bullies picking on a senior citizen in a wheelchair.
  17. Post 4 is ST stating he fixed the link. He should have said links. Post 3, which is mine that contained the url for the FB link his link was going to before the change was made at 12:03 am. Post 4, his announcement was made at 12:06 am. I was still on the topic page when the notification came up another reply was posted. That's when I saw post 4 and saw that the link I had pasted from the FB page had been changed to the new link he provided in his OP.
