  1. I addressed the mass killings at the church some time ago. Had the Air Force reported his conviction into NCIC, the guy would never have been able to buy the guns. I brought Chicago up because Chicago has close to 600 homicides so far this year and the majority of the victims were black killed by other blacks. That number is by far more than the deaths in mass killings for the past 5 years in this country. There has also been more than 2,000 shooting victims in Chicago, the majority of them black. Since you seem to think that blacks killed by cops were killed because their black, well
  2. I make the giblet gravy at our house. My wife says it's the best she ever had and she and her mother can make some damn good gravy.
  3. From the research study I provided: Analysis of ATF investigations from July 1996 to December 1999 found that 73.8% of investigations involved intrastate trafficking, 46.6% involved interstate trafficking, and 6.2% involved international trafficking.
  4. Why do you choose the black on black violence that is killing more black males than police officers? Why do you choose to ignore the fact that the overwhelming majority of shootings are done by those who do not own the gun legally? You seem to want to portray law abiding citizens who own firearms as dangerous criminals. Apparently you didn't read the complete research study.
  5. Did you ever believe Junita Broderick was raped by Bill Clinton? She said she was. Did you believe Paula Jones was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton? She said she was. Did you believe Kathleen Willey was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton. She said she was?
  6. I just looked at those. You can't see the entire research paper because they want you to buy it. Looking at the abstracts though, I would have to say that they are including as gun ownership, those people who killed with a gun, but owned the gun illegally. Once again I will refer to Chicago as an example of a cultural problem resulting in high gun deaths committed by people who were illegally possessing a gun. You can't seem to get it through your head, that LAW ABIDING CITIZENS do not buy guns for the purpose of committing crimes. In 2016, the University of Pittsburgh conducted a resea
  7. It's so damn easy to make a false accusation against a candidate a few weeks before an election in an attempt to smear them. I have no idea if Moore sexually assaulted a 14-year old or not, but what if he didn't and it's a false allegation in an attempt to cause him to lose? The other two who claimed they dated him at 17 and 19; so what? The legal age of consent was 17 and neither one said anything inappropriate happened. I would not be surprised at all that once after the election, whether he win or lose the matter is not pursued in the courts. I also see where a lot of false allegations
  8. Look at how Prohibition worked out so well. I paid tax on every gun I purchased.
  9. So you want to do what; have the government put a limit on how many guns law abiding citizens can own? How many guns do you own?
  10. You source not one single study or "research" to support what you're saying. Most of the shootings taking place in Chicago are by those who possess guns illegally. So tell us how insuring guns is going to reduce those shootings.
  11. So you don't believe in a person is innocent until proven guilty.
  12. Please explain to us how having your gun insured will reduce homicides committed with guns? Do you actually believe criminals would even insure their guns? Hell no. Also explain to us how a gun owner is at a higher risk of being shot than a non-gun owner.
  13. Impeached on the Jones matter you mean. I also recall how the left defended him, stating what he does in his personal life is his own business even if he was doing it in the Oval Office. You also forget about Paula Jones and Juanita Broderick who accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault while he was campaigning for his first term in the WH. We can't forget about Kathleen Wiley who stated Clinton would grope her at the WH. Hillary Clinton who as a presidential candidate last year campaigned that a woman should be believed when she accuses someone of sexual assault, yet she did everything s
  14. What I find hilarious about pubby's position is, he thinks this guy should drop out of the race; yet when several women came out and accused Bill Clinton of sexually assaulting them he gave Clinton a pass.
  15.  You really crack me up. You keep insisting I'm saying we can't do anything and I keep telling you we have to find a way to change the culture in those communities where the vast majority of gun violence is taking place. You come up with some moronic idea about how having gun owners buy insurance for their guns is going to reduce gun violence.
  16. There are quite a few people participating in this discussion who seem to believe that stricter gun laws and a ban on assault weapons will somehow eliminate mass killings. I believe it was cptlo who pointed out that mass killings will occur regardless of the availability of these types of weapons as there are other means to kill a mass of people. Let's take for example what happened in NYC when a Muslim drove a Home Depot rental truck into a crowd of people killing 8 and injuring 11. Some on the left may say, "that's not really a mass killing because 8 isn't very many." Alright then, let'
  17. Just think, many of the people complaining about government interference about opiods are people who think the government can fix health care.
  18. I can turn you on to some articles that discuss this very subject. How many of those who were kids with you that watched those movies went around shooting and killing people TP?
  19. A large number of young people from each race listen to rap. A lot of rap promotes violence. Do you disagree?
  20. Indeed impoverished communities cover a variety of demographics. Crime rates are much higher in impoverished communities than they are in affluent communities. As far as taste of music goes, it probably varies based upon demographics as well. She was definitely trying to bait me to go that way. I kind of find it very odd that when I said impoverished communities, she automatically thought "black." Exactly. Gun insurance will not reduce gun violence.
