  1. Call your homeowner's insurance provider and they will tell you that you are responsible for fixing any problems on your own property, including those caused by another landowner (ie: trees down, or erosion).
  2. Living in the immediate area, I feel thrilled to get rid of an almost empty shopping center and "ghetto" area.
  3. Yet you stated elsewhere that not enought people in Paulding know how to read. Maybe the kids should get a tough problem now and again.
  4. When I leave the house at 5am, I get home around 4pm. When I work overnights, I leave at 10pm and arrive home between 3 & 5 am. My wife is currently a work-at-home mom and this will be the first year that all my kids are in elementary at the same time, so they won't even be home to miss me. Yes, the traffic is hell. I applied for every local job I found advertised, even those beneath my experience and education and paying minimum wage. I was willing to work for less so I could be home with my family. I got lucky finding full time work with a company that not only supports the empl
  5. Move closer to your job or change your schedule like the rest of us do. Like some have already said, the increased gas tax will affect ALL DRIVERS, not just local residents. All trucks driving through, all vacation travel, all tourists, everyone needs gas to get through this state. It's more "fair" for a gas tax then another local sales tax. BTW, whatever happened to The Fair Tax? Then it wouldn't matter who had the high income and who didn't, we all pay the same, legal resident, tourist, immigrant, whether they're rich or poor folk. I don't want to sit in the construction that's
  6. In the age of "political correctness", I'm surprised this isn't a racial issue. I mean, many of the kids I saw in the videos, the mugshots, and in the interviews look white to me. In seriousness though, this is an obvious case of "the rules don't apply to me or my kids." I think it's sad that people not only fail to be held accountable for their actions, but that they also fail to accept responsiblity for their failures in parenting. Because that's really what it is, a failure on the parents' part. Like someone else said, the good kids weren't there at all. I don't feel bad f
  7. Sorry this happened to you, not at all surprised about the location, though. That place is turning into quite a low-brow joint. You couldn't pay me to take my kids there. Let me guess, no security video? IF I had to go there, and that's a big IF, I would park at Walmart. Yes, just as likely to get broken into, but more likely to get the perp on camera. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.
