Stay away from big banks period. Once you have an overdraft it seems like they target you from then on. The community banks are much more willing to work with you when something goes wrong because they don't have to rely on "corporate" regulations. I have had accounts at big banks and small banks and much prefer the smaller banks. RUN, RUN, RUN away from Suntrust they will take you for everything they can. I closed out my account there last year and a month after it was closed they sent me a card in the mail for overdraft fees (you cannot close out an account if there is a negative balance)

I forgot to mention that the 1st 2 pictures are of the same waterfall. The one on the left is me standing at the bottom of the falls. The other one is what you can see from the trail. *Edited to add: This is only a 4hr drive from Atlanta.

All along Hwy 64 are waterfalls. Lower Cullasaja Falls is just east of Franklin and there was almost an accident in the road because you don't even know it's there until you come around the corner of the mountain and then you are almost forced to stop because of the hugeness of the falls. They are beautiful and you can't help but slow down and look. After we pulled over, there was another car that came around that bend and stopped in the roadway and sure enough another car comes flying up behind them..It was pretty close.. Anyway, 64 East from about Franklin to Brevard. In and around Brevard

we had the best time ever. It was amazing to hear the sounds of the falls and how loud they were. You truly could hear nothing else. The magnificence of the beauty was beyond words. To stand there and see left me in awe of God's creations.

The 1st picture is the lower falls, the middle picture is the upper 2 falls, and the 3rd picture is a guy kayaking down the 1st 2 falls.

It was amazing!! There are 3 waterfalls in Little River Falls. There is Hooker Falls, Triple Falls, and High Falls. High Falls is about a 150ft high waterfall that takes about a 30 minute walk to get to. We actually got to walk down and touch these falls. We saw several waterfalls and hiked plenty to get to them. Triple Falls is about 120 ft total and was in the movie "Last of the Mohicans". Triple Falls is 2000 ft up from the parking lot and High Falls is another 2900 ft almost straight up.

LA Fitness on Chapel Hill Rd in Douglasville has a pool, hot tob, steam room, 3 racquetball courts, and a basketball/volleyball court. They also have the weights and cardio equipment as well as cycling classes.

I worked for Dr. Orquia years ago and he was a great guy to work with and work for. Dr. Kriegel is really good too.

The funeral for the SPHS teacher that passed away last Sunday will be at 10am this Saturday, Sept 12 in the Jonesboro Chapel of Pope Dickson & Son. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 68 PM, Friday, September 11, 2009. I just wanted to post this in case some of you wanted to go.

I got a phone call from the school this morning as well. My son was in his class this year and my older child had him 2 yrs ago. They both adored him and thought he was a great teacher. It breaks my heart to lose another educator who was making a difference in our kids' lives. Prayers for his family and for Mr. Nichols' family. Does anyone know what happened?

I put the date in my phone calendar. I hope to be there...

Thanks. Thank you. Thank you. It was a beautiful trip. It was raining on Sunday when I took the forest pics and it made the trees glisten. The mountains are my favorite vacation spot. We went up through North Carolina and up the Cherohala Skyway and through the Dragon's Tail into Pigeon Forge. Those pictures are taken in those areas.

On my way home around 7pm tonite, I was driving down Hwy5 in douglasville and right in front of the Publix (across the street) there were several So cars, a ladder fire truck, and greystone power people. The power poll was snapped in half with the greystone crane holding up the top half. You couldn't even see where the bottom half landed. By the time I got there, they were still rerouting traffic going south on hwy 5 and there weren't any cars that looked like they may have been involved. I was just wondering if everyone was okay and if anyone knew what happened?

These people that are "nose-diving" on the brakes, Do they not go this route everyday? The trees aren't the problem, people speeding are. Maybe if they slowed down just a bit coming into a red light like that then maybe they wouldn't have to slam on the brakes when it actually turns red (which is what happens at red lights). I am sorry there was an accident and I am glad that noone was critically injured, but come on-stop blaming the environment and take responsibility for your own actions. Pay more attention to the road instead of the cell phone or the trees. Just my $.02
