Where is there room for a grocery store near the courthouse and what store will it be?
-
Super Hero is awesome!!! They always have a some cool new flavor to try! Plus if you guess how much your ice cream will cost, you get it for free!! you do end up paying a little more for a cup of yogurt there, but it is locally owned by a family from the community. I'd rather pay slightly more and support the little guy!!

New Grocery Store possibly coming to Hiram

I agree with you! One thing we should feel blessed about is our Grocery store options. Publix, Food Lion, Ingles, Kroger, Walmart, Target, and soon Aldi's. We have so many choices to shop around and get the best deals right in our own back yards, and I think that is pretty cool -
I heard from a friend that works for the company that Aldi is planning a store in Hiram! Should be open by the first of the year!

Advance Eye associates of Marietta! (next to target at the corner of 120 and Barrett Parkway) they are great!!! Very personable!! -
For groceries usually Food Lion on 92 or Publix in New GA. (Ridge Kroger is too crowded and i feel like i'm in a cave sometimes) I usually avoid Douglasville... even though Hiram is getting to where it is just as crowded sometimes. I really like the avenue at West Cobb... wish we had one closer. When I have to go to a mall, i like Town Center.

Do you think the big stores are taking advantage of us...

The WM in Hiram is just too cluttered for me to be able to grocery shop in. Target is way too high in groceries. Since Kroger shut down I usually find myself in Food Lion @ 92 and Brownsville. It is just too convenient on my way home from work. They are actually cheaper than Kroger on a lot of items and it is so easy to get in and out of. If you live near Hiram and still haven't found a new grocery store since Kroger closed i recommend this store. Customer service is great, also!!! -
92 is WAAYYY too congested as it is. I wouldn't want to see a Walmart put there until after they finish widening the road to 4 lanes. However, won't the new East Hiram Pkwy by 4 lanes? that may be an option. I use Walmart for cleaning supplies. I can't stand to grocery shop in there!

I have heard a few people say they plan to build a new Walmart on HWY 92 somewhere between the Food Lion (at Brownsville) and 278. I was wondering if anyone else has heard this or not. I also heard it is going to be the largest Walmart in the State of Georgia and they will be closing the Hiram Location.

Correct... NOT the Subway on Ridge, it was the subway on 92 @ Food Lion

What school does your child go to? Most schools have math tutoring labs. When my son was in calc at UWG he had to go to his prof during office hours. Now he is in stats at KSU and has to go see his prof a lot for that class as well. From what i understand most profs are very good about seeing their students during office hours.

I have Verizon and have NEVER dropped a call anywhere in Paulding except for in and around the Food Lion on 92 and Sweetwater Church... can't get a signal out there to save my life.

we went to go see it after they did an interview with the Abbate family at my church (The family goes to West Ridge I believe). GREAT movie.. cried for almost the entire thing!
