I love the Melting Pot... fondue.... if you have never been, you get your choice of cheese dips with things to dip in... then your choice of broth dips for your meats and veggies... then choccy dips for your deserts... they bring it and fix it at your table (but unlike the japanese places, you dont have to share your table with strangers) lots to eat... private atmosphere... informative and friendly staff.... there is one in kennesaw just off barrett parkway

I lived in the houston/galveston area for 10 years... august is the worst but if you can deal with here then the rest of the year is not so bad... I have to say I did have to get used to the wind not blowing all the time when I moved back to paulding... I still catch myself missing the constant breeze... figure that it is about 10 degrees warmer there than here at any given time... and the 10 years I lived there we had snow flurries once and a frost less than 10 times.... but the year I moved back they had an inch of snow for christmas... first time they had more than just a flurry in like 75

we gave up everything except internet... we get internet at $35 per month with comcast then we have a big HD antenna for local broadcast ($75 from home depot) and got a computer specifially for the tv (gateway computer with tv feeds on it... about $600 from microcenter)... everything else we go through netflix, hulu, and the stations website (with so many people doing this they are showing more and more on the internet).... at first it was a little adjustment but now we will bring up going back from time to time... and a few seconds later we are going.... nah... not worth it.... and we made u

someplace rural on the coast? try the coast of texas... mostly rural there and winters are next to nothing... the houston/galveston area has about a couple of weeks of winter... and usually that is spread out to a few days here and a few days there.... now august gets rather brutal with heat and humidity but if you can handle that then the rest is not bad at all.... think going christmas shopping in shorts and thanksgiving picnics on the beach!!

I have a friend who does not have insurance and not a lot of money. She does not qualify for medicaid. She is having a health issue (non-emergency) that she would like to see a doctor about. She has done a little research and if she is diagnosed with what we all think she has, she can get generic medication at one of the grocery stores (perscription) for a price she can afford without insurance. Is there a place I can send her to see a doctor with no insurance and she can hopefully afford? She does not want a handout... just a place that is not horribly expensive...

we just came in from heading out to the store.... there were lots of puddles of melted ice in the road (Nebo Rd)... it was okay to ride through now but there will be sheets of ice in the morning... there is just not enough wind or warm enough to evaporate it... especially in the shade....
