  1. There is one in Hiram in the shopping center where Powerhouse gym is.It's 2 doors down from the Hiram Station.BUT IT SUX!

That one is called Kokopellis. I got my tongue pierced there. They do piercings and tattoos there. They have lots of neat stuff in there, but I doubt I would truly classify it as an adult store. The ones in Atlanta are all overpriced and have the same stuff that you can order online for about a third of the price.

Oh, and don't ask me how I know about that last part. :o

  2. Your so right hiramcouple & its a sad day when the little fella's cant go by themselves.

I still take my Grandson into the womans restroom. He's 5 1/2.

He wants to use the mens.

    I may tell he's 18.

guess that will be a issue.

Now we will be needing "family" restrooms

My oldest one is 7 and I still won't let him go into the men's room alone. If my husband isn't with me, his little but goes with me so that I can see what's going on.

     :o

  3. I live right off of Bobo Road, too, and I know just the crotch rocket you're talking about. My husband cusses every time he comes down the road, and it seems like he comes through at the same time very day. I wish just once he'd lose control of his bike and come flying into my back yard. Ruger would love to eat him for a snack for invading his territory!!!

I'm not sure about the black truck though. I don't leave the house until 7:15. There's an older black crew cab that lives in my neighborhood, but it's a dually. I don't know if the one that you're talking about is or not.

We looked out the window the other day and saw a cop sitting on the other side of the road and got excited at the thought that they'd actually be patrolling the speeders down our road, but he must've dropped his doughnut or something because he was gone the next time. I have nothing against the law enforcement out here, but I really feel like there should be more speed traps set up to catch these idiots before they kill one of our kids down that road.

    :angry2: <_< :angry2: :glare: :excl:

  4. My husband and I both look when we are out in public. He points out any women that he thinks looks good and I point out the men / women that I think look good. We're comfortable with each other like that.

I know he would never cheat on me and he knows that I would never cheat on him. Otherwise, why would we have married each other???

  5. At a buffet style restaurant, I usually leave $2-3 depending on if the server keeps my glass full and clears the plates.

In a regular restaurant, it depends on how good the service was...if they are friendly, timely and keeps my glass full. If the service is bad I leave nothing. If it's good, I usually leave somewhere between $5-10 depending on how much we ate and it we had the kids with us or not.

As far as feeling obligated to leave a tip, I don't. People go into a serving position to make good tips, but they shouldn't feel like people are obligated to tip for poor service. If you can't be a good server, get a job on the line in a fast food restaurant or something, not dealing with customers.

On the other hand, here's a good story that happened a few years ago.....

My husband, children, MIL and I went to the Olive Garden at Cumberland on Cobb Pkwy. The service was very poor and the waitress was very slow and rarely came around to check on us. It took her 30 minutes to get around to taking our order, just as we were fixing to get up and walk out. Well, like I said, the service SUCKED, so when we got our ticket, my MIL was paying for the meal. She charged it on her credit card and filled out to leave only a $2.00 tip. Well, the waitress had the nerve to look at the MIL and tell her that it was REQUIRED to leave a $5.00 tip atleast for the server. Well, to this she replied, "Could you please send your manager over here." She explained what had happened to the manager and the manager apologized profusely and ended up giving us a free meal for all of us on the books whenever we got around to coming back. Since then, the same girl has waited on us twice, has been extra nice, and I don't think that she even recognized us.

  6. :angry2:

I have to agree about the water company. I have had several months that the bill doesn't even come until it's already past due. Just a couple of months ago, I received a bill that was twice as much as usual and my husband went up to the meter to look at it and you couldn't even read the numbers. It seems that our meter reader just wrote down any old number they could think of and it was way over what was on the meter. They adjusted the bill, but that's not the point.

After that, I went back through all of my water bills from the past four years we've been in that house. On more than one occasion, we were billed for the EXACT same amount of water usage for two months in a row. Coincidence? I think not.

Oh, but the icing on the cake was the $18.?? charge that just appeared one month on our account. I called about it and they told me that it was a charge from NINE YEARS AGO when my husband lived in the house with his first wife. They were going through their accounting stuff and came across it. That's funny, when we had our water turned on in March 2001, there were no outstanding charges for the address and it was under the same name then as it is now. Eventually, after about a week of investigating it, they wrote it off of our account because they didn't have that computer system anymore. Suits me though, because I wasn't about to pay it to begin with. Just think, a charge that just appears on your bill out of nowhere after living there for almost four years.

Go figure. What a bunch of idiots. Maybe one day they'll hire some people that can actually run an office. If they posted some decent jobs, I might be inclined to get a job there and see if I could make a difference for all the citizens of Pcom.

Oh, and the street light charges are ridiculous. The one in front of my house works one minute, it's out the next. I think there might be a short or something in it. It flashes sometimes.

  7. I was paying my old neighborhood a visit lmao. Seminole St is only 3 houses past my old house. Honkin clearly has an alibi, check the times of my postings. I was sitting right here when scanner reported it. Honkin dont get black eyes Diehard you know better. Queenpeach check the scanner threads and you'll find the posts. Oh, Diehard you know I dont run from the cops either, I stop and harrass em.

I tried going to the scanning the county forum, but it was password protected. How do I get the password to look at it?

  8. With 6 T.V. (not all on at the same time) we would need 6 boxes and the cost is higher than Comcast (at least the last time I checked)

My husband and I switched to DISH Network about three years ago because of Comcast. There were two instances over a period of six months where I didn't pay the entire bill with my check, and since they run their checks electronically, they helped themselves to the whole bill anyways. I argued with them over it the first time and when it happened the second time I had a dish put on the house within a few days. And to top that, we called and told them that their boxes were ready to be picked up, but they never came and got them - they're still sitting in my living room closet. They tried to tell me that we had one more box than we actually had, too, but thankfully I'm a tedious pack rat and kept all the paperwork from when they delivered new boxes to replace old ones.

My suggestion, switch to a dish of some sort, whether it be DISH or DIRECTV. It's less hassle. The only problem you will have is right before a storm comes through. You'll lost satellite for a little bit, but it comes right back. We have a dish and four receivers, plus one extra channel that is $29.99 per month, and we pay right at $100 per month. If I remember correctly, that would be right in sync with Comcast, atleast what I was paying when we switched. I'm sure they've went up by now though. :glare:

  9. My family are all fans of Jeff Gordon. I like him, but I prefer Jimmie Johnson. I think he's a much better racer than Gordon. I despise Jr., but I love Mikey!!!

Oh, and Harvick BITES!!! His pompousness screwed up a lot of cars yesterday. Maybe somebody will put him in the wall on Sunday!!!

  10. I have two little bundles of my own:

Richard Dakota (would've been Austin Dakota, but dad vetoed at the last minute) who goes by Koty (different spelling to go with actual name)

    and

    Erik McKinley (goes by McKinley)

Koty didn't have a girls name because I knew what he was before he was born. However, hubbie wanted a surprise on the second one, so if he would've been a girl his name would've been Erica Danielle (not by my choice).

    The names that I prefer:

    Raven Skye - girl

Autumn Cheyenne - girl (I love Cheyenne - it was to do with southwest Dakota)

    Elizabeth Danielle - girl

    Anastasia Skye - girl - Super-duper out-of-the-ordinary

    Dylan Christopher - boy

    Daniel Chase - boy

    Christopher Lee - boy

  11. We have missed the January sign-ups for little league ball at California. I was wondering if there were any leagues still open for sign-ups in Paulding County - preferably the New Hope side of Dallas.

My three year old son really wants to play this year, but his mom is a do-do and didn't make it to the registration. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks.

  12. I watched the Radio Music Awards last night just long enough to see her performance. I was certainly NOT impressed with her. She can not sing as far I'm concerned. I think the only reason that she even has a record is because of her sister. Ashlee is no Jessica, that's for sure.

What was up with that funky outfit that she was wearing??? It was awful, but I bet she thought she looked great!!! Poor thing is right. :p

  13. I would also like to extend my condolences. I am a Hendrick racing fan to the core and I just broke down and cried when I heard the news. I feel so bad for that entire family to have lost so many people at one time. Rick Hendrick just doesn't seem to be able to get a break this year with his father dying and his leukemia. I didn't hardly sleep last night thinking about what that family is going through. :(

  14. I, too, am guilty of going after something and never being able to remember what it was I was going after.

My other peeve with myself is that I will be talking to my husband about something, and then just totally forget what it was I talking about mid-sentence and can't remember for the life of me what I was talking about.

  15. I live right off of Bobo Road and that road has some of the stupidest drivers ever!!! There is this one crotch-rocket motorcycle that comes speeding down through there EVERY day almost doing like 80 mph and it drives me nuts. When I slow down to turn onto my road, people go into the turning lane at like 60mph to go around me. Makes me stop and wonder what would happen to me if they went over there and decided that they couldn't quite pass me!!! I think that the PCSO needs to have more patrol cars out to catch speeders instead of sitting in parking lots socializing with each other. Isn't part of their job to keep our roads safe and enforce traffic laws? <_<

  16. 1.) The pipes buried in my backyard that PC is going to be doing to reduce the flooding to my property from Bobo Road and McClure Ridge subdivision when it rains.

2.) The redlight at Crossroads to reduce the traffic congestion so that I don't have to sit there for half an hour waiting to get through. PC outgrew that four-way about five years ago. There is way too much traffic coming through there for it not to be a redlight now.

3.) Either a Joe's Crab Shack or, preferably, a Red Lobster. We have two or more of every other type of restaurant, so why not a good seafood restaurant?

  17. Thank you for the positive input on the haunted house Fear I, 1998, Fear II, 1999 and Fear III, 2000, which was located at 92 and 120 in Dallas. As one of the directors and designers, we had a great time and a very challenging job. We had an awesome crew of kids, that made the haunted house what it was.  We do miss the fact that our location was torn down. Unfortunately, we were  never able to find a new location to have another haunted house.  We put many many months of hard work, sweat and tears into the projects.

Four of my favorite scenes were the earthquake room, crematorium, cemetery and the maze.

Our goal was the FEAR FACTOR!!!!!!

That haunted house was my and my husband's favorite!!! We went every year it was there and was very upset to see the old house torn down. The first year that the house was no longer there, we looked endlessly on the internet to see if it had been moved to somewhere else, but no luck. We thought that it was better and better priced than most of these big haunted houses. I don't think we've been to any haunted houses since Fear shut down. We thought about going to Camp Blood in Carrollton, but wasn't sure just how scary it would be. Does anyone know anything about that one?

Look at all of us....We must be crazy to be paying people to scare the bloody he** out of us. I guess it's all in good fun though, huh? :D
