Yes, he was the one with the handicapped arm. He passed away on August 11. His obituary is posted here also. They have a book for signing at the Ridge Road Kroger.

We were sorry to learn of Benny Franklin Gee JR's passing yesterday, when we went in to the Ridge Road Kroger this afternoon. Despite his physical handicap, he was a dedicated staffer with a good disposition. We will miss him. May he rest in peace.

The Dallas Theatre has That Puppet Guy for two performances Tusesday, 11am & 2pm. He was great when we saw him last time and our grandkids loved him, so we'll go again. He makes all of his puppets out of recycled materials.

I was in the doctor's office last week and a teenager came in behind her mother. The teen was holding a celphone about 3 inches from her face, texting as she went. Had no idea how she managed to keep up with her mom. She must have been there for a sports injury, because she was a cheerleader. When she got to the desk, they wanted her to put down her cel to be weighed. Took them a few tries to get her to do that. She didn't look happy. Weighed, it was back to her face and she followed her Mom to a seat on the other side of the office. Don't know if she put it down when she got in to see the

I've mentioned my cousin some time ago. He lives on the other side of greater Atlanta in a good neighborhood. He has had some sort of un-diagnosed condition (asbergers, etc.) since he was a child, in the days where your parents kept it in the closet. His Mom passed away a few years ago, so he is on his own. Before she did, Social Services tried to get me appointed as her guardian, because he wasn't doing a great job, but his lawyer knew how to get it dismissed, didn't bring Mom & Son to court. His Mom set him up in a towing business for used car dealers who often didn't pay him or

Confusing. Never heard of this, but the festival organized by Paulding County-based Celeb Scene, Inc was to be in Douglas. The long anticipated Chattahoochee River Country Music Festival set for July won’t happen by the river at all — in fact, it won’t even happen in Douglas County. The festival is organized by Paulding County-based Celeb Scene, Inc., a young social media platform and promoting agency, which touted its three-day event would draw more than 120,000 to Douglas County’s Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club. Now it appears the festival will take place in Carroll County at a venue with

So, we took my wife & our daughter to a restaurant for Mothers Day. We were in a rush, so I didn't look at the check and just gave the waitress the card. When the bill came back, we realized it wasn't our bill, which was lower than the bill we received, and all had to be corrected. Took a while for all to be corrected. In the future, I'll just ask the waitress to wait while I check the bill.

Thanks to the Atlanta Hawks’ playoff run, the Divine Intervention tour will arrive in Atlanta a day later than planned. (Previously purchased tickets will be honored; refunds are available at the point of purchase.) As for the show, which is supporting her recent album, “It’s the Girls,” Midler said in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (which you can read in Monday’s Living section) that she has a 14-piece band and, sadly, fans will have to say goodbye to her iconic mermaid-in-a-wheelchair, Delores Del-ago.

If you can't read the comments to our granddaughter's saying that her Mom's favorite TV show is an "Adult Show:, I've blown up here our D-I-L's reason for telling her kids that: -
Our four and a half year old twin grandkids up North filled out forms about their mother, which she posted on Facebook. Look at her explanation for one item, because a friend asked her a question about it, which I included below, and see if you agree. (CLick on pic to see comment) So now you know how to get the kids away from you. (She's always looking for someone to watch them. You can see them here.
