  1. they are now 15, 18, 19 and 23. I also have a 16 month old grandaughter. It was and is never boring. Always on your toes. When I read the part about running over the ramps I skipped all of the replies because that scared the hell out of me!

  2. Don't run over the ramps! In the subdivision I used to live in we found some of the kids thought it was funny to get under the ramp while the others went over it! We caught them at it and told them what could happen if a car ran over it. But you know kids will do foolish things. If those kids were doing it others certainly will.

  3. I have 2 girls and 2 boys. I think calling this girl a bitch is too harsh. She's 15. Maybe when he asked her she was afraid to hurt his feelings by saying no. It was a lot better to tell him she just wanted to be friends than to let him spend a lot of money on her and then say sorry, just friends. My kids are 15, 18, 19, and 23. I've been through a lot of stuff as they went through it. They were taught when they were young to respect others feelings and have always tread gently. When my son was in 1st grade a little girl sent him an I like you do you like me note. He came to me and said "what do I do?" I asked him do you like her? He said as a friend. I said that's what you tell her. Never be mean because she'll always remember that. He has always been kind. Remember they are just kids.

  4. my golden retriever/lab mix would rather be outside when its really cold and even when it rains. He doesn't like it outside when its really hot. my boxer is the opposite. The golden retriever is very furry, weighs 100 pounds and howls inside or outside. in the middle of the night at the foot of the bed, scares the hell out of you!

  5. Are you serious?  Do you mean there is another one?  Do they have identical voices?  I would love to see them at a ballgame together.  I bet it is a sight.

Yes, there are 2 of them. As they have gotten older they look less alike. And yes they are a sight at ballgames. Very much alike! Sometimes its scary!

  6. we have a 7 yr. old female boxer, our second boxer. Our first was a large male . We had him for 8 yrs. He was stolen out of our back yard in Smyrna. My daughter currently has a white female boxer puppy. Daisy is about 12 weeks old. They are having a hard time house training her. They take her out, she goes, she comes in and goes again right away. Any suggestions?

  7. We love EPHS. We moved here almost 7 yrs ago. We loved Smyrna but it was getting dangerous at Campbell High. Daily fights, a shooting at the park across the street was the last straw. It wasn't campbell students but just too close. I believe it starts at home. I always talk to my kids about consequences. My kids have goals I don't want derailed for something as stupid as fighting.

  8. I am not down playing this issue, not all. You don't know me. We have taken this issue very seriously. I'm not however going to sit here and point fingers. Instead I look for facts. My son was injured at practice. He needed stiches. We took him to scottish rite. We told them staph had been going around the football team and we were very concerned. He cleaned the cuts extremely well. Told us staph is everywhere. On our skin, under our nails. It needs an opening. He said pay attention to your child. The next day my doctor put him on an antibiotic to prevent infection. She was not overly worried either. She is an Emory doc. EP is working hard. We have had nurses come and check our kids. I watch mine closely.

I know the kids who have had staph and was very concerned for them. I have prayed for the boy who is currently in the hospital. I don't take staph lightly.
