This afternoon I was on my way home from my son's post op visit with his doctor when my jeep started to overheat. I made it to Walmart in Acworth and called my husband. While we are sitting there waiting a young Walmart employee who is gathering carts comes over to me and said "I saw your jeep smoking, do you need any antifreeze? I said "I don't have any cash on me right now and my husband is on the way." He said "No charge, I have some in my trunk." I told him thank you very much. He went back to finishing gathering his carts and I took my son inside the store instead of waiting in the hot car. When I came out there was a jug of antifreeze sitting on my hood. What a terrific kid! He did something so nice for a stranger! I'm going to call and get his name and commend him to his manager and thank him again. With all the negative stories about teenagers on the news it was great to see kindness in action!

I am so proud of our boys. Last night was a very emotional night. These boys gave their all this year and no one could ask for more. I know my son is not glad it's over. He was devastated last night. He is a junior and is ready to start NOW for next year.

My husband was on his way to get our son moments ago and saw a red pit bull standing in the middle of Mt. Tabor Rd. He turned off of Dallas Acworth onto Mt. Tabor went around a curve and he was standing in the middle of the road. He did see AC after he passed Due West. They were going in that direction. Good luck!!!!!

My daughter and grandaugher were there today. They told me there were so many adorable pets. They adopted a puppy that had been bottle fed for a few weeks due to her mother not taking care of her. She is a black bulldog mix.I believe ya'll called her Lacey. So sweet and adorable!! Ya'll took such great care of this baby. She will be soooo spoiled!

We had our son's made at portrait innovations at The Avenue. Both our daughters had their pictues made by lifetouch. Even with renting the tux it was at least 50% cheaper and the pics were awesome. My daughters pics from lifetouch were beautiful too just waaaay more expensive. Plus we got his pics within a halfhour of taking them. We did have his picture taken by lifetouch for the yearbook though.

The only good thing about filling out the FAFSA is it actually gets easier each year. The renewal FAFSA is a breeze.

we had lots of fisher price little people sets. I still have some of them. Some are around 20 years old. We used to call them "choking people" to keep the kids from pitting them in their mouths.

when my son had strep and mono the strep was a throat swab and the mono was a blood test. Anytime my kids have had strep (my youngest many times before they took out his tonsils) if the thrat swab was negative they would culture it. We've never had a blood test done for strep.

Well, I know someone who goes by "honey" I think it's nuts...but her grandkids love it and makes for some cute grandma honeypot gifts and such. and it's sinking in now...but I just can't imagine at 16 them calling her honey. But it suits her and is growing on all of us!
I've also heard G.G. for 'gorgeous grandma' ha ha!!
my all time fave is a friend who's name is Dollee goes by "granddollee"
personally I like Mama ______
or my daughter called my Mom "MomMom" for the longest.
my 2 year old grandaughter calls me mom-mom! I thought I was the only one. this is the name she decided to call me on her own.

I wonder if you can find out who turned in your other cat. Maybe they found both and decided to keep one.
