Thats what teens do learn from their mistakes. Most times lots and LOTS of them.....LOL My daughter is 17 and there was times I just wanted to lock her in the closet till she was grown but she has grown up so much this year its hard to believe she is the same kid that gave me so much trouble.

Yes...yes you have. If I'm not mistaken you dumped her at my place...and GOD did she deserve it.
You're one of the cool single father types. She's your life and she comes first, even if it means getting rid of people you adore because they don't get along with your child/respect your relationship with her.
Thats the way it should be. What a great guy!! Your daughter will love you the more for it and thats a love that will last forever.

Nope. All of my life my feelings have either 1) Not counted for anything or 2) Been misconstrued. I'd rather keep it in side and just let people wonder than wind up getting hurt.
This is another reason why I'll probably wind up being a cat lady.
LGM you and I are sounding more like sisters everyday. I got two cats by the way......LOL

Enough to make a nifty apron or something.....eta: the fabric is red with the mickey head print if that makes sense....ya know the black head & ears...

Wish I had known a while back, Avon has Mickey stuff sometimes!
Never thought Mickey stuff would be hard to find. Its good to know if you ever need to get something.

This close to Christmas? Well that leaves shipping anything out. They have sweaters, mugs, etc. at the Disney store, did she look at those? Believe it or not Mickey isn't really a big seller at the Disney Store, other characters are. They should have plenty of stuff. It might not be 'the perfect gift'....but shopping this close to Christmas I doubt she'd find one anywhere.
Yep.... I know. I was surprised when she told me they had very little at the Disney store as far as Mickey. I told her the same thing but you know how it is when you want to get the perfect gift.

I have a friend who is pulling her hair out. She is looking for a gift for a lady who LOVES Mickey Mouse. She is looking for something in the $20 or $25 range. Been just about everywhere even the Disney store. Only could find watches in that range and not really what she wanted to get. Anyone have any suggestions?

I agree on that point with ya Moose.
My kids are everything to me. I would have to date someone for a while before I even got the kids involved. Kids get attached easy and it bothers me when I see women bring kids into it too fast. -
And somehow it gets twisted that the men are wrong for it (not claiming that that's what you're saying).
Nope never said that it was wrong just saying it gets harder to date when you get my age. I appreciate someone who is up front.

22 year old single mom of a 3y/o Hellraiser....YEAH, I'm doomed to be a cat lady. Girl try being 43 and two teens. All the men my age are either set in their ways or want NOTHING to do with kids.

I am terrified of confined spaces. Someone when I was kid used to think it was funny to put a pillow over my face. Its weird because I am ok in elevators alone but if someone gets in I start freaking. Snakes too. I see a snake you will hear me screaming a mile away. I was pinned in a corner by a rattlesnake when I was a kid..
