  1. The date on this is January 15, 2008. Almost a year ago. Wondering why being shown now? This should have never happened. Putting your hands on a child is not acceptable.

I personally think ALL buses should have monitors because some parents dont want their kids singled out and wont let them ride a special needs bus. Plus regluar buses are so crowded now that its harder for the driver maintain order and concentrate on driving. Thats the reason alot of the time you see buses pulled over because they have to concentrate on an issue taking place inside the bus.

  4. Thank you everyone. we found her. =)

I just wanted to edit to add a thank you to all the people out there who look out for animals. The lady that found our cat could tell she was well taken care of and someone had to be looking for her and looked for our signs and called us. She looks after all the homeless cats here at the apartments. The people who do things like that are very special and for that I am thankful. I promised her I would ask if anyone is wanting to adopt a young male black cat that is good with kids and other animals including a small dog she has of her own. Have a blessed day everyone. I know the rest of my day will be with smile on my face.

  5. post-3278-1222339033_thumb.jpgYesterday my daughter was cooking dinner and set the smoke alarm off so she opened the door to the Apt to let the smoke out and her cat slipped out and is missing. We looked until after midnight for her. She is a calico Maine coon cat. We live on Cleburne Parkway in Hiram. IF one see her please let me know. My daughter is so upset. The cat has never ever tried to go outside before. I am gonna try to add a picture. Her name is Pumpkin.

    Thanks

  6. And WAIT YOUR TURN at a 4 way stop. Simple to remember. 1st come, 1st go. Or, as I taught my kids, '1-2-3-ME' method. Each car that was there when you arrived at the stop goes first. If all of you get there at the same time, defer to the person on the right.

AMEN!!! Some people never stop they just coast on through whether its their turn or not. I cant tell you the times I have had to slam on my brakes to keep from getting hit.

  7. If anyone is looking for a small church with a big heart please come visit us. Our congregation is the whole range of ages. Our wonderful choir director Jean does everything from old hymns to contemporary and to hear her sing is a joy. Her son's christain band In Pursuit has played for us many times. Our Pastor Joe Prichard is the someone you will never forget. Every Sunday I look forward to going. It has changed my life and my kids life going there.

  8. I just finished reading Michael Connelly's Echo Park. Excellent Mystery. I love Michael Connelly he make you feel like your right in the middle of the story. Now I am reading Rita Mae Brown's Purrfect Murder A Mrs Murphy Mystery. This is my first Rita Mae Brown book but I am getting into it.

Reading is much better than the TV or Computer (except PCOM LOL)

Echo Park was wonderful! Ready for the next one. I picked up Harlen Coben, Michael Connlley and Alex Kava books at the same time about 6 months ago and cant get enough of all three!!

I love rereading the Dark Tower series this second go around because I am picking up things I didnt know before like all his books are connected to this series in some way.

I read two or three books at the same time and one is always a christian book. I have discovered J Vernon Mcgee and really enjoy his take on each book of the bible. He is hard to find so I havent been able to read many.

Also, I am reading Sleeping Doll by Jeffery Deaver. Cant wait for the next Lincoln Rhymes to come out.

  9. Love Harlen Coben!! I am finishing up the last book in the Dark Tower series by Stephen King for the second time. I wondered if anyone has read Alex Kava? I cant find many of his books but the ones I do have I love.

  10. I have given myself b-12 shots for going on 8 yrs now. I use the thinnest ones they make but they cant be the shorts because you have to inject into the muscle. I am sore for a few days on the spot where I injected the shot is all. I can tell how much better I feel the next day after I take one.

  11. Thats like the Mrs's. She can read these novels in like 2-3 hours. I guess I'm just slow becuase it takes me forever to finish just one. I will put it down and go a week without picking it back up.

Something else that I can't do - reread.

I am actually enjoying them more the second go around. Its like movies everytime you watch it again you see something you didnt catch the first time.

  12. Straight from their website since you don't believe the former bookseller.

What is the 'Diogenes Trilogy'? A. Three novels that, together, form the story of Agent Pendergast's epic confrontation with his brother, Diogenes. These books, in order, are: Brimstone, Dance of Death and The Book of the Dead.

He is going to be in other novels, but the Book of the Dead doesn't have a sequel (which was what you were waiting on).

I LOVE these books. I am dying to read the next one to see what happens with Constance.

  13. They do, don't they? I'll be the one boo-hooing on Saturday. Look for me!

I have my hand up in the boo hoo club. I am dont think I have ever been so happy and sad at the same time. :pardon:

  14. Wow! You found an exclusive Baby Mamas' Demo CD! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Lucky dog! LOL! I have heard them practicing in my house for a year now. They are something! I just haven't figured out what. 8)

Yep and didnt even have to fork over the 2 bucks for <grin> It was Erica's gift to me.

LOL....not sure either but they are having fun and thats a good thing.

Erica is so excited about college. Its good they get to go together.

  15. Congratulations to your daughter on her award and best wishes for a successful future!

Thank you!! I am very proud of her. We have been though alot to get here. There was a time if I didnt know if she would make it through the 9th grade.

Erica is like a second daughter to me. I love that girl to death! She and PsychoDaughter are going to be roomies at Mercer. Erica wanted to apply there, but was hesitating. PsychoDaughter applied with her on a whim. PsychoDaughter had settled on Agnes Scott and was about to accept their scholarship offer. Then they both got scholarships to Mercer and the decision was made!

I took Erica to see Loyola and Tulane when we went. Check out her pics if you get a chance. And I took them both to Mercer on the day we paid the admission fees. She was so excited. Both of them fell in love with the campus. Now we are trying to organize what to buy to decorate the dorm.

Erica is a wonderful young woman and I will miss her dearly next year. I know that what ever she does she will excell!! Got my Babys Mamas demo today......LOL

Good Luck and God Bless to all the grads!!!

  16. thats how I started with the flu a few weeks back. Had me on my back in bed for 4 days! Started with a horrible horrible cough, fatigue set in, throat was killing me, dripping got bad and then the fever set in along with my whole body aching. The first day was the cough then the rest set in the 2nd day. I hated it! On the 4th day when the fever broke, I felt soooo much better, but just got rid of the stupid cough this past weekend finally. Took me 3 weeks to shake that cough!

I hope you feel better soon! The one thing I did that I don't normally do was drink, drink, drink plenty of water!!! It did help a bunch!

Thats what we have had here. Hit me last Tues like a ton of bricks. Just now starting to feel human again. Had a upset stomach with it too.
