  1. It was ok...I don't think I ever want to see it again. HATED the ending..that really bothered me!

Same here. The ending was horrible!!!!! This movie came in close to Whicker Man as far as movies that have ending I NEVER want to see again.

  2. You are not alone!! I think a little more discipline in the first place would have been a good place to start.

"Adults behave as well as they are treated, and the same holds true for children. Adults generally do not improve their behavior when they are insulted, criticized, threatened, publicly humiliated, or beaten; or in the rare instances when they do so, the costs in fearfulness, anger, and resentment are extraordinarily high." ~ Jan Hunt

This is a high school kid and there has been disipline. Last straw kinda thing hapening now. My understanding is got written up several times in one day thought it was funny. Dont think its very funny now.

  3. One ran right into a bus the other day. Driver was sitting there and the deer just ran into the side of the bus. She said he just got up shook it off and ran away. They must be everywhere right now. Glad you are all ok and I hope your rates dont go up.

  4. I have sleep walked and talked most of my life. Havent scared my crap out of my kids screaming in a while but I do get up and change clothes. I wake up in all kinds of stuff I didnt go to sleep in. Last week my son said I got up and was looking for my keys in the sink. Not thinking he gave them to me and he said I told him I have to get something out of the car. He asked my what and I told him I dont remember and put the keys down and went back to bed. Dont remember any of it.

  5. It was a shocking thing to see when we came out of the church. They are such a nice family and would help anyone. They were just talking about they only had one more year and the truck would be paid off. I feel so bad for them. He was telling me the bible on tape and mp3 player he got for Christmas from his kids was in the truck.

  6. This happened tonight at our church. The gentleman had just came in not more than 10 minutes before someone who was driving by came in the church and told us the truck was on fire. No one had any idea. It wasn't a fuel line. We believe it was a recall on the cruise control that just came out from Ford. His had just gone out and the truck wasn't acting right on the way to church. We are all truly thankful that he is alright. His 16 yr old and 23 yr old sons were with him. I want to thank the man that came and told us it was on fire and especially the Paulding County Fire dept. They were there in mere minutes. The truck was totally burned out in the front. Only the back half is left.

  7. Hmmmm, VERY good point. After 11 years of justifying every move I made, you'd think I'd enjoy that, huh?

I spent 16 yrs of my life trying to please my ex. It has taken me almost three the learn to how to please myself. I get lonely but I am starting to like doing, eating, sleeping or whatever when I want and not having to worry if it will be ok with him.

  8. I agree she has made alot of bad choices and is at fault for where she is at now but until she hits that bottom or is dead nothing change. Her kids are the ones suffering because I dont believe for one minute Kevin wants them without the money attached. He does have three other kids he walked away from to marry her. As long as people in her life are making money off her limelight no one going to step forward and make her get help she needs. JMO

  9. Mean?

Well, I would say that if she really wants grow up at her own pace that she should consider that what she is really telling me. First, would be that she is still a child, who is not ready to grow up or have responsibilities that suggest maturity, therefore she should not be dating or going out with friends or going to movies without her parents, etc. and she should have a 9:30 curfew.

Also, that car--well, children don't need cars. That is just too much of a responsilibity for a child, who has no means of paying for it. Personally, I don't get why a teenager needs a car unless she has a job, but that's me--I am even meaner. ;)

Honestly she doesnt even have her license yet because I told her until I see her being responsible enough here at home and school I wont trust her in a car. I have seen way to many kids get cars when they arent responsible enough and lucky they didnt die in them.

  10. I have a lot of sympathy for young people who get thrust into the spotlight only to have it tear them apart. Young folks want money, lots of it. They just don't think it through when they are offered a job that will inevitably lead to celebrity status. I hate to say, and hope I'm wrong, but she'll probably check out on us before much longer.

So true. Like Anna Nicole Smith. Everyone just keep making money off her till it killed her and her son. Brittney needs someone in her life that really cares about her.

  11. wow....I wasn't intending on a battle starting here. I just wanted some honest opinions. I am a single parent and was a stay at home mom for 14 yrs but circumstances changed and I had go back to work. There are positives and negatives for both sides. I just wanted to do the right thing for my child and that's what most parents want whether they work or or not.

  12. I work in the field of college retention, it is best if she have no job her freshmen year. This is not opinion but fact and I do have data to prove so. If she is staying at school it is also best she not have a car her freshman year. The tough part about my job is parents think differently then whatthe facts are. Even if your child is not going to attend Tech I reccomend highly you check out their FASET program and see the speaker S. Gordon Moore Jr called parenting a college student. I will not post on this topic nor follow it as parents have strong opinions and I will not debate factual information. For many this is not possible and the child has to work but look at it this way. What will they make that year tops? What will the difference be in their salary if they graduate school with a 3.5 or 2.9? It will be the difference between picking which job and where or taking what they can get in many cases. Bruce

Bruce may I ask what is FASET program? SHe is going into a Tech field. She wants to be a Chef.

  13. Yes. She should get a job and take care of most of her own expenses as well as help at home by doing her part. Of course she thinks you're being mean. My thoughts are, if you have a teenager that doesn't think you're trying to ruin their life, you're doing it wrong. ;) :D

Thats funny!!!  Lord I must be doing a great job right now!!

  14. But the majority of them are NOT coming to school or school functions while drinking. If there is probable cause, sure. If not, no. Just as it is wrong to randomly search homes because there is more drug use today, it is also wrong to subject innocent kids to a search "just because" as well.

No one has a problem with law enforcement. We do have a problem with violations of basic rights.

    Amen.
